Simple Set Up for USD JPY. Look at this Post #4,712 when I made an entry.

I got couple of question in my inbox on the set up I used for Davit Pivot Method.

Please look at the chart attach for simple explanation.

Basically, I scan chart where price is in consolidation or in areas of S/R.

Look at USD JPY consolidated on 3rd and 4 th Nov.

Important ! Then look at the Price Action in relation to Pivot Point.

In this case look at price structure when price is bouncing between S100 and S78.

There is Inverted Hammer ( Pin Bar) that definitely mislead traders to short this pairs prematurely.

If this trade went wrong, I m set to loose around 25-30 pips to swing low.

This is very low risk trade, because the set up is perfect for Davit's Pivot Point System.

If you think you got a set up . please post in this thread, we look and discuss it together.

Everybody has their own ways to approach this method, but the key is always remains with Pivot Point and Price Action.

AUD CAD

Looking at set up.

This high match the highest in April 2014.

Will check back every 4 hours on how the PA formation. Currently , its filling up the gap.

Anyone want to share views on this pairs ?

I am short on AC and NC both are way overstretched.Both due serious corrections
to me both are more longer term trades so requires patience
NC in particular is at historical high and if they cut rates to 1.75 I anticipate drop to 95

Looking at LONG set up.

Ealy this month, Pin bar on Daily Time frame. Price push to test the resistance.

Today price gap down and start moving up to the 1.45940 resistance area.

Keeping close watch on this pair

Guys please I really like to see more engagement to Arjun posts and in general.Can't just wait passively until someone posts a gold nugget.

FYI I'm guilty of primarily lurking as I think the thread interesting but haven't yet had the time to wade through the mechanics of chart setup, partly as I suspect it involves a metatrader platform (which I don't currently use) and partly due to other restrictions on my time. Hope to do so in future but expecting it will be a while off yet.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I have an opposite view on EA for 2 reasons,

1) Looking at the 4H chart, price couldnt push through R38, it looks the same on the daily for the past few candles
2) Gap up couldnt sustain its momentum, first 4H candle got pushed back, observe the 2nd candle - Red crossing/closing below Pivot.

Also 2 things to be aware of - 1) There will be volatility in the next few days wild swings can be expected & 2) Trading at Pivot line could go either way.

Already @ BE.

fakey narrow channel breakout play on the H4 - trade off the back of red news - entry wit sellstop [sat it under R38 as priced was approach'n R61] that way if price shot up passed R100 i would have a chance of missing the trade [a good ting ] ..... tried add'n but messed up [bad entry] so stoped @ 2 tickets ....... didnt expect huge gap down - just lucky

Hi Arjun,
My candles seem to match up with everyone else based on the same pairs and time frames but not with yours I believe there may have been somthing i have missed but you candles formation never seems to be the same as mine. I have scrolled though a number of pages for answer but found none.

PS: that chart above i have a match but your USD/JPY 4hr my candles post 4743 dont!!
