anyway, these are all crap and misconception

the holy grail is that i give you a computer and a chair, a trader sits his sorry ass on it. 30 trades with no stupid position sizing and he produces profits. that's the holy grail. (in fact, roughly, but you get the point!)

why a stupid lady who drives her car into a wall ascribe her stupidity to gas management, or psychology, or whatever, instead of simply her pathetic driving skill???

driving vs trading is a poor analogy (as profitable trading is extremly hard, while daily commuting driving is extremly easy), but still a working one.

if one is put into daytona or nascar driving seat, and he ends up arriving the last several, do you think it is his gas management? wallet management? risk appetite? psychology? or what fucking ever cause his failure???

he simply doesn't drive well!

this trading perfectly related to any skill of sports!

he simply doesn't know how to play soccer/basketball/football/tennis, nima........ you name it.

btw, trading skill is formed with bit by bit knowledge, understanding, and how-to. there's no way to learn a system from 'trading system' section and become profitable for a newbie, even if it is indeed a profitable system published.

With 10$ you will blow it every time or profit few dollars ir pips... 
 
Several factors make a good trader - patience,  knowledge,  money management,  when to trade, patience.  
A simplified system of the above, put in numerical form - that's the grail. Takes only time and brain. And courage to follow the rules.

Fibonacci and Moving average are the more probably.

I already have a holy grail, I prove it to some people and I do not want to do it here at forex factory.
I know alot of people dont want to hear it but the fundamentals is the holy grail, technicals dont matter very much.. Go to the systems section.. Theres thousands of different trading systems there and a new one being released and still people arent profitable why? Its common sense.
fundamentals set trends, technicals are just points of entry, indicators are mainly a joke.

The movement of price is simple, even if on the chart looks complicated. Most of us, sad experience, get bogged down in waves, impulses, mini mini retraces... Then emotions....news.... Then advisers... It's hard to trade with the hourly chart mentality.
So you found your system. Few minutes work every day.?
I somehow dig into 4H charts or less. I suppose i need the activity......

You need patience to trade bigger frames. Profit 100-200 pips a month? Seems you have your grail Excellent posts too.

Below is my old chart - see what i mean?? Need strong will.... I had the knowledge but not the patience to ride it down. I'm improving though.

In my experience there is no Holy Grail. There is just hard work - to study, to learn, to practise, to accumulate experience.

Well, thank for your suggestion. In the past 3 years, I have learned those that you've mentioned above, but it seems like they don't fit my trading style. I mean the longer TF like H4. I am not that patience or I'd appreciate if you provide shorter TF style for me.

Regarding the pic you've attachef, we all need patience and mental discipline.

It does not have to be H4 TF. The price behave in the same manner in all TF but the smaller TF are more tricky. See the chart I have attached on this post (5min TF EURUSD) and compare it with the H4 and see that is almost qvasi-identical.

It's simple, but hard to do. Trade in demo just like you would with real cash for 5 to 10 years until you are profitable for 4 months in a row with no cheating. Then trade the minimum 0.01 lots per trade in cash until you are consistently profitable, say for 4 months in a row, with no cheating. Then come back here and explain it to rookies to improve your karma a bit. -G
Start from a basic and simple method, then understand the reason why does the entry or exit is wrong. Use a white paper, draw like a flow chart for all information you know (Weakness and advantages)

This is so true. Its not just the trade entries. Its all about the system. And should include your 1. Trade entry 2. Money management 3. Paychology 4. Exit strategy.
Start with enough money so that you can actually afford to trade at least $5000 as a minimum. Start trading with small lot sizes .01 do this for months so that you can try different strategies. Change your leverage to 25 to 1 so that you don't take stupid risks. Never use all your leverage. Spend lots of hours in front of the screen working it out for yourself.
I think at least one holy grail exists. Why some people said that there is no such holy grail if probably they not made an evaluation (Honest evaluation) of everything related with foreign exchange?.

A fact is that I had a theory with 100 of successes but is something very complex to Comprise. Now I am trying to make a new theory based in a system model. I will do it with stablished rules, like scientist. Of course.
