I am still not convinced either way. I can see the problems but I can also see the benefits.

Take a look at this 1hr Dax chart.

The yellow boxes are set at 40 pips which is just about the wipe out point of the current account depending on the speed of entries.

Clearly we can see that if the trade goes well then it returns a large payout for the actual amount invested. Remember the unrealized equity also can compound the profit at a staggering rate. However everything has to go according to plan and as soon as the market begins to struggle in its direction the trade has a very high risk of failing.

Unfortunately this seems to be human nature. For some strange reason people hate successful people and are always wishing they fail and tend to hound them until they do just so they can say i told you so.
Wouldn´t it nice if he was supported and helped when things are not going well.

Unfortunately human nature is to follow glitter and a pot at the end of the rainbow - hence the title of this thread. That is why uneducated are prone to cleaver marketing and scams. You did not even bother to look behind a curtain, yet preach about "people hate successful people".

People do not understand what success means. If for you one lucky week followed by 30+ margin calls and ROI nicely averaging to retail target - zero - is success, then I am sorry for you.

You are a victim.

You dont believe me? Take this idea, translate to any field of business and try to find a serious investor willing to back it with real money. Just make sure you buy a lot of ear plugs first. But obviously all that will fall off the skin. For you I am just a hater, against all rationale presented here. Easy pray.

How is he a scammer, he not asking for money and he not insisting you follow his trades. I have followed from day one have never taken any off his trades but kind off liked his attitude all be it reckless at times.
People keep mentioning how many margin calls he has had but fail to mention he is still in profit. You have to have balls to be successful in any business, you don´t make serious money without taking risks. Take the Bransons of the world how many times did these people go bankrupt before they made it big.
I´m not saying you are wrong with what you say because the world is full of people wanting to scam you but bags is not one of them its up to the individual if he wants to follow his trades or not.
Personally i want him to be a success because to me he has the courage to give it a go, he may end up giving it all back but also he just might make it.
As for the last section I´m not a victim i have a very successful business but i went bust three times before i got there but i never gave up despite being told countless times i would never make it.

This thread is interesting because you can see all kind of traders: the deluded, the optimist, the pessimist.. the realist who's also in the process of learning (myself).
But those who are actually making money aren't posting here, they have a laugh at most.

He should do 2 different accounts, lets say 1000 euro ones. Trade on both ones but exsactly opposite trades. 1 looses and the other wins big. Take all out endofthe day and start again next day

No, he would blow both accounts simultaneously.

What are you proposing is essentially taking a loosing strategy with high leverage and tiny buffer for a margin call (like this one), reverse and hoping it will be a winning strategy. I can assure you, it will not. I have tested large number of systems that looked promising. Over number of instruments. Over number of years. Over number of time frames. Each of this combinations in Monte-Carlo fashion with thousands of separate simulation for number of input variations. That gives me really accumulated trillions of back-tested trade decisions. No, this system, whatever runs as it is or reversed would fail as it fails now.

Dont believe me? Try yourself - it takes some skills though, hard work and conviction rather then blind faith

Our bagX decided to switch to currencies today, did not work obviously, so we are back to DAX

[edit] now -93% for the day, remaining 60 Euro out of 856. To take it back to break even, bagX now has to make nearly 1500%... OR make a new deposit and hope for the best

Week 1: deposit/start 50 -> balance 700 by mid week -> 1300% ROI (but blew by the end of the week)
Week 2: deposit/start 1,2k -> balance 11k by end of the week -> 1000% ROI (and large withdraw)
Week 3: deposit/start 8k -> balance 17k by mid week -> 100% ROI (but blew by end week and down to 9k )
Week 4-5: total deposits 16.6k -> total withdraws 27k > 60% ROI
Week 7 as per today: total deposits 18.2k -> total withdraws 27.3k > 50% ROI
