Reducing the risk and improving the RR. For those are having problems catching too many fake breakouts, this method naturally decreases the size of your loses.

Hi janpec1000, very nice thread.

Few question if you don't mind.
How you pick pairs to trade? If I'm not wrong, you pick the volatile pair. But how to decide, there's many volatile pair especially on London - NY session.
How many pairs do you watch while you actively trading?

One thing i forgot to mention which is very important. Never have two positions at same time on highly correlated pairs or instruments. For example if you enter GU pattern and at same time have EU do not enter becouse you are have now double risk on account. This means only if two setups are in same direction eg long for example.

Correlated pairs:
EU GU AU UCHF

So basically if you have two long setups on correlated pairs usually they are both either gona work out or both fail.

Hey, i trade anything that has liqudity. Volatility is not factor with which i filter traded instrument. Sure it helps if you are in volatilite environemnt and have setup on low volatile structure, but its not required. What is required that instrument trades. If there are a lot of participants the spreads will decrease allowing to actually execute M1 entry. To judge liquidity you simply look at spread size thats all it is.

New fresh catched pips! I traded correlated pairs. I didn't read your post Janpec... It make sense what you say. But you also say we have to look for low spread pairs and those are use to be the dollar correlated ones. How many pairs you watch at the same time?

Is this a valid setup? Its at the top of a channel as well so it would give very good RR

You can play this one micro short or long depends which side it will break. By the way i dont think you can trade AN from M1, spread is massive on that thing at least on my broker.
