yea i did, some have the same issue actually... they said to untick the "enhance speed thingy" which i have tried, but problem still persist.
Well, no idea, hope it goes away by itself..

Yea, kinda regret taking the free update to win10.. its like i am reporting bugs for them. problem after problem. first was high cpu temperature, then sound issue, microphone issue(still not fix, cant get my mic to work on win10, tried everything there is on google search, got no more clue how to proceed) and now this chrome. Hopefully it works out fine

Sorry to hijack your thread Phil.
Anyone on the usdcad? I went out for awhile, missed this move.. might just call it a night. feeling tired from all the troubleshooting.

Phil - may I ask how do know at end of say bull run it is profit taking and they will get back in OR they are getting ready to turn it ie fins of shark (nice BTW)- are you going on feel ie how strong bears are? EU today m5 was short trades - but in last bobble down you could feel sth was not right in its movement laboured and buying going on even though it may not look much and it had a small climactic end in the trenches running out of steam then it ran long.... helped by news but they were waiting for it.

some is 'feel' but when the price stalls in a straight line it is generally viewed as possible profit taking, in a 'normal pump' price will most often fall back on the 'rest', the good profit taking trades seem to be when they done a stop run after at the usual places, of course you can get many levels of profit taking in a move, the asian session is often slow and harder to see any profit taking in the lower frames, i have also noticed that if the asian session makes and hold a new daily high/low then it can be a sign of strength and a new high/low candle will be made during london often.

atm in the G/U they are building stops/orders in the range, if i think it may go higher i would watch for the new long pump to trade and dump most/all at the tops until the break away happens, i do this because my thoughts are not always what the market does for me and this keeps me safe. the 100% retrace thing i posted earlier was the warning the new/next high may fail (as it did) but i know you know this part well.

i am always watching the higher frame for its new pump or rest for clues to this, the wave within a wave thing.

so time of day/week comes into play now and bulls have shown up at the bottom of the last bull pump. got out of the last of my other trades now so calling it a day soon.

Thanks so much for the clarity.....what do you think is going on inside a V reversal - do you think they are acc/dist inside the last climactic run and then doing a massive dump?

I do agree with your eur chart thoughts - I traded short and then long from levels .... I now always watch h1/m15/d1 charts while trades run.

generally i think they are stop/order runs/fills like the shark fins thing i highlighted yesterday, the best ones are often after i see possible profit taking when the run is into new territory/ground and the return takes out the left side pump.

here are the H1 charts for G/U, you can see why i was long scaling in/out all day in there even though there was little showing in M5 of this possible opportunity, your E/U was very hard to read yesterday due to the news events that were affecting it and i prefer my girls to be easier that is why i watch and dance with so many, they and only they can provide the opportunity to dance successfully, like people they all have their good and bad days.

I agree completely with your h1 analysis and traded with it in both directions actually traded long short long based around D1 + h1 + m5 PA + RoK etc.

Is nice to give a little back now and again.

My trade in that pair was only going to be a pre-news operation, I was also in U/C, which turned out to be the better trade for me, sounds like you done very well out of E/U way better than me, I never went back in, took the easier option with my other trade but still watching E/U.


Yes, what I can not show is how or what I see in the other kingdoms while trading these pairs, there is just too much info changing to quickly to be able to document any of it here, that is why I try to detail the P/A as much as I can.

The USD was in favour today in all 3 major sessions, the action in E/U today is what I call a sweep (the daily bar made a new high and low), this is I believe the MM’s taking out stops/orders, I often see these at/near turning points/areas or just before something major happens, also A/U and N/U have the same action today and so did U/C yesterday.

Sorry for delayed reply, I am ok thanks my friend , just traded very light for a couple of weeks before the US election and took last week off to let the ‘dust’ settle and try to see what the market thinks/wants to do after the results, was supposed to be looking at trading again now but some other things have/are happening in my life that mean I cannot trade until sometime next week now.

Here is video i recently found for anyone who reads my journal and fti's thread, it is about the golden ratio and may give some ideas and better understanding of some possible uses of/for it.

I am not great on the fibo stuff. I understand by using fib sequence we maintain a fib relationship and so can use the nos as a sort of calculator - so if we need to rescue and expect price to retrace 38.2% at least ( but it may not) - we can skip a number to find rescue no - so if 3 in trouble we can skip 5 to 8. But I am sure there is much more to it.

Sorry still not trading ATM.

I found this a very useful tool to understand the money management pros and cons, if it is not used blindly by just adding at the lines and the P/A is used for the entries/exits with this just as a guide to pace out the entries/exits it can be a very useful tool to learn from, of course we still need to only use it in lower risk situations etc, also just because say price retraces to the 8 or 13 area it can be added in smaller pieces across the area/space, there are no rules and everyones tolerances are different, for anyone who may want to set it up for yourself you will need to work out the range/pips it covers for each move you apply it to and your own skews/money management available to you, I strongly suggest to anyone who may want to use this tool to only use this in demo until you are completely comfortable with it, it is a very sharp and unforgiving tool if used wrong/blindly and not everything/trade should be saved, you can cut some or all at any time, there are many ways/variables in using this.

I must also state this is NOT something fti has shown me, I made this up myself using some of what I think I understand from his thread, I only ever used it as a training tool for better understanding of the snowball and P/A.

The way I trade and understand the P/A now allows me to see the price structure forming, I can then take an educated (well practiced) guess to where the price current range may be, this tool helped me see that, I can then move my position into that rough area to try to take advantage of the suspected new range as the market moves in its pump/rest motion during the lower risk times.
