Alerts using Mt4

Hi, Since yahoo and google have updated their security I can no longer get price alerts form my Mt4 terminal ? has any one else had the same problems and if so how do you get around the problem of getting Mt4 to log into your smpt sever to send alerts to your email address ?

Hi Martin,

I would recommend that you create a dedicated alert email account ... with no sensitive data
Then, you allow less secure apps for this email account .
For google : https://support.google.com/accounts/.../6010255?hl=en
Then .. you need to add your new email account in your MT4 platform : Tools>Option>Email

That´s it

PS : you can redirect all your email from your new account to your favorite one
