I'm thinking how get benefit of renko higher TF history in real ticks. if I read candle in H1 ( normal chart ) and decompose that candle in renko I can simulate past history. Only problem is we will have one candle delay. But maybe compensate because we will have very good waves like history

Where you load EA renko. In real ticks that TF dont affect but affects how past history is drawed. Renko TF is not relevant. You can have same chart with M4 and M19 if you load it at chart with same TF

HP. Can you make small adaptation to EA? Can you write renko candles when chart TF candle is closed and draw that renko candles like you decompose it when you create history?

Example: You load EA at H1 chart. When close current candle you write renko candles using that H1 candle closed. Its same you are doing with past history. With this we have same painting that history in real ticks and H1 candle delay is compensated for smoother waves drawing

I'll explain how the EA works.

These setting play a big factor.

When the Renko EA starts building history the first step is to go from the current bar -1 (1 bar before the current bar) and using the high and low of every bar to calculate the movement of that bar in points.

It will go back and back until it either reaches the point that there are no history bars anymore (2000 in above settings) or the total movement in points is greater than the max renko bars settings * boxsize * points per pip (max history renko bars reaches even with adr or atr variable boxsizes).

When one of these situations occur a begin point from where to build renko history is established and the EA will go from that point back to bars -1 (latest closed candle) building the renko history bars.

When the EA has done that it will take the current open candle and build any left over history bars to the front.
So if you has set max renko to 500 and ar running on a D1 chart you could start with fi. 526 history bars depending on the move in that open bar.

When all the above is done it will probably have a not completed renko bar and i will start processing live data into that bar and continue building bars.

The renko EA takes the bars from the chart timeframe you are running it on.
Run it on a M1 chart and again with the above setting you have 2000 M1 bars to get data from and with some pairs could give you ~50 renko history bars.
Run it on a H1 chart and you have 2000 H1 candles of data available which is 60 times more but less accurate than M1.

It will look really silly having 10 bars or so pop up at once on your screen but i can make it an option.

Ok. Limit is max history

About your last comment that is the problem. We know how tick candles are made. Evident is the most accurate. But you know higher TFs make smooth waves because you are getting every H1 candle and cutting in X renko size parts. As you told you lose the movements inside that candle making faked charts but more easy for trade.

The idea is you cut candles in same way you do it with history. Wait H1 candle close ( or EA chart TF ) and make renko candles of that closed candle. With this you get same less accurate charts that history but for a little payload you get smooth waves

With M1 ( or real tick ) is hard make profitable renko. Simulating high TFs maybe we can solve the problem. But is not obligatory do it if you think is so much work for something we dont know will works

To renko or not to renko.
Normally this is a pretty slow time, Draghi is already 5 and a 1/2 hours ago, Yellen too.

With movement all systems works awesome...but Asia is a disaster and if you get LO day like Asia you will lose much money

I know where you want to go, i will build it in as an option.
But i am still wondering how you are going to generate signals when fi 5 bars are outputted and the middle bar is the "turnaround" bar ?

Using M1 data !

If i wouldn't do that the most recent part of the history the open candle, would not make much sense.

But this will change if you use the the process at candle close option.

I don't understand well but I think you are saying if you have new 5 new renko candles when chart candle close you will write all that renko candles at next tick, dont you?
