Hi.
I would like to show you my trading and analysis method, which now is the basis for my earnings on forex.

As the basic theory, I am using the Gann tools. For those who have never had to deal with it, I will try to explain
in detail how it works in the following notes. Also, we will also apply to other analytical methods, such as
Channel trading, graphic patterns and others.

Sometimes I will show the trading results. Do not take it as an indiscretion. This is exemplified.
A little about:
I have been trading forex for more than 4 years.
Now my account has a drawdown of almost 10%.
I try to trade with the risk in the range of 2%
I intraday trader.

Rules:
Without advertising, without talking about brokers, abuses for any reason.

Turn on the price projected using Gann angles:
1:1 - 45º angle, it shows the strength of the trend
1:2 - 26,75º first level of support\resistance
1:3 - 18,75º correction angle
1:4 - 15º rates consolidation begins, from 1: 4 to 1: 2
1:8 - 7,5º reversal angle.

With angles - 2:1 - 63,75º, 3:1 - 71,25º, 4:1 - 75º, 8:1 - 85,5º same way, only in the opposite direction.

Example analysis on GBP/USD. Movement in the district level - 1: 4 can talk about that the next movement will grow to 1: 2.
In any case, the touch of 1: 3 can be predicted with high probability.

When touch the 1: 3 possible corrective reversal, so the price may fall within the correction.

Earlier I said that the level of Gann 1:3 - is the level at which the correction movement begins. This movement has begun and now the price is between 1:2 and 1:3. Recall that the levels of 1:2, 1:3, 1:4, 1:8 - a resistance\support levels.
My version:
Move down, because now we are seeing very strong influence of the level of 1:3. Reduced to 1:2. After that, we can predict the future movement.
Second opinion - is that the price may continue to rise. If this is to happen, it is not higher than the level of 1:4.

Summing up on the GOLD
1. The price after all reached out to 1: 4 and touching, fell under the influence of this resistance.
2. Now the price in the region of 1: 3 and continues to decline.
3. I have previously pointed out that at the touch of a 1: 4 price likely will return to 1: 2. So my first option - it is to fall to 1330.80, and then probably to 1325.75. It is not excluded that there will be re-touch to 1: 4.

First off thank you very much for explaining your way of trading. I have one question which I'm confused about. It's regarding your last GBPUSD trade which you took a short, Trying to find out how you determined that price was going the opposite direction when in fact it didn't hit any gann lines, and previous candle was a strong bullish candle right on the head you decided to short, where by looking at the chart it looked like the price was going up. Please advise

Very interesting, you pretty much noticed it was going to go back up so therefore, closed the trade and the price moved 40 pips against you if you didn't close you would have been $12,000 in drawdown although the price went back down. How do you cope with the psychology of such drawdown if it happens since you enter in large lots.

Basically, you use the gan fan for trend direction if price is at 1:2, 1:3, 1:4..etc you look for short, if price is at 2:1 and above you look for buy? and you put other factors in place such as market behavior, price action, support resistance?

Yes, you are right, it would be a big risk, about 10%. Psychologically, I would have coped quite well. Maybe it would have a a couple of times blow off steam in the gym. Just kidding.

I also want to trade now USD CAD. I believe that the price should fall and again to touch the level of 1: 2. Earlier, the price has already tried its strength, and not break through.
