Have to this stage only focused on the FTSE. Here is a GBPJPY trade taken. Took some heat early. Ah could have, should have didn't hold out till 6/8ths. The system works!!

I would like to scalp using M1, M5 and M15.
What would be the best settings of Murray Math for these timeframes ?

Just waited for the setup. Should have, could have, but didn't wait till move to 7/8ths. Ah well. Small fish taste sweeter.

This will seem a very strange answer to your request for a Murrey setup to scalp from, Try this then perhaps you could post a chart
A DAILY CHART with a MURREY 4, I much prefer to scalp from this than any 15 5 1 min timeframe

Thanks for your answer. I have seen some traders that use M15 or H1 to trade from with the Murrey indicator.
Maybe I will add H1 to my system, I might come back when it's ready, I still have some work on it.
By the way, it's indeed a bit a strange answer, because this is a thread that had its focus on M1 trading. I had been following it some time ago in the past.

To save you having to read the previous posts and depending upon which Murrey Maths indicator you're going to use:
M1 = 1024
M5 = 256
M15= I don't trade, but the forum does give some suggestions.
H1 = I don't trade either, but the forum .....

Use the daily as template and then adjust the smaller MMLines to suit.

Hey, thanks.
For M5 I would use : P64, MM Period 60. That seems good to me.
I also like to use some indicators, do you guys trade only using Murray ?

The great joy of trading is that every person has their own slant on what they want a chart to look like. My understanding of the parameters that you have used is that the chart is setup for 1hour; MM period = 60
If you want to show the 5 min MML just set the MM period to either 5. Conversely set the MM period to 0 and it will calculate the MML to the time frame that the chart is set up to.
As to indicators: use what ever 'floats your boat'. Practice using an number of different indicators and setups on a live chart.

Hi Guys,
A while ago Page 530, Post 10593 Pipglutton posted what in my mine is an excellent video on the workings of Murrey, at that time I had never come across that version of the Murrey Maths Indicator and was very reluctant to change to it, but having tested it, I now see advantage's in using it, the main one being it sorts out the (correct octave based on 64) automatically for the timeframe that you are monitoring, by changing to this version we will all have the same setup for the same timeframe be it 1 Day or 1 minute

For those of you that still use the z---MurreyMath-TimeFrame indy...

I have Placed all the lines to the background of the chart.
Added options within the input menu where you can hide the Babylines and on screen Comments.

Hi, Thanks for dropping by and making some changes to your Murrey indicator for us, a while ago I spotted that you also did some work with the 5 Circles of Conflict but I could never get it to work after MT4 upgraded their platform, did you ever do anything to resolve the problem and have you coded anything else from the Murrey suite of indicators, must just say again a big thanks for The Murrey Indicator.
