I always support synergy in traders genuine communication and friendship.
Trading as a group or team makes it more meaningful, powerful and successful.
Trading and life is always to be competitive
I live in the opposite of the globe and we have different time zones, we can be providing information for each party to work on for the trades. Or even reminding one another on major events that can affect trading probabilities.
By pooling resources, I believe, the trading distance can be further reached.
We may not have "inside" information like the institutions have, but as minorities, we have our own strength. ( no offence to big boys..lol)

Remember.........that trading, is a very personal thing and you have to in the end find your own way. Don't just follow my styles, it may not fit your styles and risk factor.
Find out the things you like about different trading styles, and put them together in such a way that is meaningful to you and in the end have a system that may resemble others but is personal to you.
Start with Davit's Pivot Trading method and develop your styles to incorporate it.

This is how i take a trade. ( Im not discussing set up ) Just trade.
Took, the first Short USDCAD.
Place 48 pips SL. Last Swing high.
I will only add more position, if this trade goes positive, and enter on pull back.
If, this trade doesn't work out my COST ( that is Stop Loss) will be 48 pips.)
I am not holding large DD, but prefer to close my trade once it goes against me....
Consider that as a cost of doing business.
P/s - don't follow this trade, as this is my example on how I enter first trade.....

I am Daytrader/Scalper and my entries based on M1 TF,with the trend direction of H1 and H4 timeframes with emergency stop loss level limits 10 pips only for all majors.Davit's pivot made a great improvement in my ability to read PA on higher timeframes. And this can be truly called synergy,where and when 1+1 is always more then 2.

The point I have been making here is that one does not have to be all over the map trading 16pairs.Your GU example is perfect that 1 pair on 5-10 positions is equal to 5-10 pairs traded with 1 position each.So its not about how many pairs but execution of 1 great trade.
