the market is the police it only needs to be lucky once to catch a thief,but the thief who is the trader has to be lucky so many times to escape being caught.The only way to increase your luck as a trader is to protect yourself with a stoploss.

Well he was very confident before he started yesterday and I must impressed as well this morning, but yes boom margin call and looks like the past couple of trades also killer.

That is super false. If the guy would simply use say "martingale money management" and reverse his orders instead of allowing his account to shift 50% in red, he would be on the right side of the equity curve based on todays trades. What happens is people marry a trade and especially once you have a nice winning streak, you allow yourself to hold much longer than you should. Think about it.... How many of his trades has he closed for 45% profit? Now compare that to his floating loss. Why on God's green earth would anyone RISK more than what they are willing to earn?

Please remember he started with 50 bucks .... and he has already taken a hundred or so off the table ... he is challenging himself and trying to show us it is possible if you trade with skill and keep your risk small ... in this case all of 50 bucks effectively ...

Guy is still an excellent trader, he does not have my timing tool that would have stopped him going short too early. Excellent though, never thought he would entertain me so much and educate me.

Super good fun to watch and learn
