Sometimes I just muck around with ma settings and see what I get, shifts work well because they allow you to catch the trend before it happens.

This market seems a little confused. bouncing around the key s/r lines 7660 7673 7690. The 100/200hmas seem ignored. The only thing that's clear now is that it's still cleanly within the uptrend channel. Let's see where it closes today. If above 200hma, buyers have the upper hand still imo. The AUD has been screwed around all week by major data and market events. There will be none for quite awhile from now so it's free to run. We should see the trend emerging again soon.

At last this pair drop after whole week of swinging up and down.
Picking a top was not easy for this pair. Had a few losses early on but recover the losses already.
Depending on the close of the week, I might change to long term bearish but too early to say that for now.
Even if I am bearish, I would wait for a retrace to renter short.

Sigh it's so hard to pick a top for this fella. I'm neither bearish nor bullish. three days of bad trades despite very careful trading. One moment, selling from each new high only to find it surging...the next moment buying at a dip only to find it marching down 40pips. The only trade I took was to buy at the 4h 100ma @ 7637. Took a trip to the kitchen and returned to find myself losing 20pips yet again. Suddenly the pattern drawn the last few hours appears so clearly as a consolidation. Having traded the aud heavily for most of this year, these...
Not that I'm an expert, just wanted to add some moral support. I went long at a new low and got caught, but I can trade both ways, so just have to manage it lol

Yeah, I am glad too. At least can grow my account.
I also had NZDUSD short but the drop is less significant.
