how does one trade news release. The high impact ones?

Do you spot your tms setup before the news and then leave a pending order ...and then when news comes out hope it hits your order and deliver you to your TP?

I don't think it's advisable to trade HIN with any sort of TMS technique. HIN nowadays are all about liqiduity areas, stacks of orders at certain levels. It's not easy to predict the reaction to the news.

UJ BE out (slightly negative due to slippage) at FOMC but nice try i think (bounce from multiple EMAs)....

I know you are a 'fan' of Kathy Lien.
what did she say about trading the volatility using tools like the Bollinger Bands?
its so 'safe' and you don't have to lose like this using small stops .

It's just a punt before FOMC. I usually don't trade before big news and as expected, market was calm before FOMC. I just found a good setup and moved SL to BE and went to bed....
