Hello to all. Been a while but I am back and saw this thread - (Hi mastermmind!). A way to get an actual result would be to generate a detailed report via MT4 history tab and as an example make it from the 1st day to the last day of the month (IE - 1September to 31 September) - this will encompass all trades both open and closed with the drawdowns listed as absolute, maximal and relative. See screen grab from a detailed report

Hi maahome,

A screenshot exactly like you posted is indeed what each trader should produce.

The OP would then need to do a random check from time to time to make sure screenshots match up to the same trader claiming ownership.

I suggest maximal drawdown is the key parameter of interest.

Thanks for the post and hopefully the thread OP is in agreement.

This could be done end of week and end of month.

Traders who exceed the 10% maximum drawdown limit will not be posting a screenshot anyway!

An Excel file could be used to update Post#1 with Date, traders' name, max DD, account growth and number of strikes if applicable (ongoing).

Yes, I will need numbers just like that. At the same time I have everyone's TE and would check against it

Hello. Just so you know. By not allowing your account to update using ff or myfxbook, is a way to "hide" your real DD. Say I enter a position and then change my investor password ff.com's TE or myfxbook won't be able to calculate your "floating DD". However, if a person knows how to look at the trade history, you can easily tell how much a persons "floating dd" was. Does anyone know how to calculate it?

discipline seems to be more a psychological moment,
maybe you could exercise meditation,...it could help
& a focus on some "control concepts" seems also to be helpful and important - the psychological literature is full of it
(e.g. "locus of control", "stress & the concept of control", "control theory", "*cognitive dissonance"; also Leon Festinger).
