In fact if I am focusing and trading on EU , I still have a look on some other pairs , generally majors , just to see general things on them : impact of news , how they behave but the one I would like to manage and be consistently profitable with it , is EU.

Starting to like trading into Asian Session more than LO, as its on my early morning hours , feels like starting work

Dont trade Gold much, rarely I will trade it tho as its the 2nd pair on my chart beside my trade-able pair EA, so major trades goes on EA but between now and then I will take a trade on Gold, have been following it long enough so have some understanding of how this beast moves

Long on the trendline support as it had found good support there and pushed back up , so + 50 pips

what is your procedure on trading the Asian session?

I notice in the past you have said Asian session is not really worth trading because of profit targets not being met, yet every now and then you take Asian session trades.

I noticed this setup forming, and wanted to take it...but then thought to myself as is it Asian session it probably won't work, and woke up this morning to see it did work, and then woke up to see you had taken it too.

ps: I was long in a trade yesterday on this pair, and got out when i saw the bearish engulfing bar. it was around this point that i noticed there was a setup forming for the short.

As usual, watch PA @good level (where multi layers of S/R). It's harder for lots of new traders as they often fall into fake/trap (pin bar off an S/R to suck your interest) and get stopped out easily due to thin vol.
I still don't trade Asian session as it makes me tired, rather save energy for LO-NY, occassionally be at my desk just checking, if I happen to see something good I jump in but then leave it alone, and come back before FO.

was monitoring this for a while and looking for a signal to get in ...but it never came ....then price just took off without me.

aud/nzd m30

red trendline is support (i drew it on h4) [you have to zoom out and look left a lot]
price seemed to stall on the trendline for a bit ...then a pinbar came which was rejected by the red trendline and also the brn. tdi had already crossed but was several from the cross. I am wondering at this point because of rejection of both trendline and brn if one could have safely bought?

Just had a quick look, no set up for a long when price keeps making lower highs, lower lows and trading into multi resistants (DOL, weekly S/R, 200MA), no need to zoom in or out.
NZ GDT price index will come out anytime... Watch out for a surprise move...

Hi Likica, I just wanted ask you the areas where you have drawn your hidden divergence from. I thought you would take it from a low or a high? I just looks like its drawn from a quarter way up the trend slope?

I'm really quite pissed off.
spotted a setup on gbp/nzd m30 during Asian session

-when price made yesterdays high it also hit the 200ema so multi support
- divergence for continuation on h1
- weak pcrf setup
- saw price fail to make a higher high and pass the blue resistance
- saw tdi cross and went short as we had multi resistance, [this was why i entered and not because of pcrf]
- set SL above the 200 ema swing high

price pulled back near the 200 ema due to medium impact news but did not pass the high.

the bloody spread took me out of the trade for a loss, even though price had not gone above the high or touched my SL.
price then took off and reached my would be target of RR 1.75 ...although it may not have triggered due to spread. even though price has pulled somewhat back i think that price will still go through to original profit target.

this sucks......
