you did well Claudia, I had a look at a couple of betting sites but got no where lol.
I did not go dancing last night as a trader friend turned up and I let him look at Pc as I thought I had a fault on it.

But wins v losses doesn't matter too much as long as you adding and increasing stake size. Sure it's dangerous but when it pays it pays. Don't normally bother with hard stops but have a £ figure in mind when I know enough is enough I'm beat.

I know lol, we both know Claudia. I get peed off looking at those sites and Gurus who spout out money management and win loss ratios, take profit etc. what you do and the big guys pays off and my way does and at least 2 of my big guy trader friends.
I already answered about dancing but I am out on Fri dancing.

Hi Billy et al,
I've never been particularly impressed with the content on FF, but this thread has always been an exception and I can't remember how I came to read it. The contributions from you and Claudia should be a compulsory read for anyone who believes they can make money at this game. Both of you preach simplicity as one of the keys to your success and I think this is a lesson many aspiring traders would do well to follow. I've been a lurker on your thread from time to time but felt compelled to give thanks for the gems of information that come out of it. I believe every individual trader needs to find their own path to success, but the advice you and Claudia give whether intended or not is priceless.
When I started trading I joined Chris Capre's 2nd Skies forex group (which whilst not expensive is still a worthless load of sh*t IMO) and I would have been far better just reading your thread had I known it existed. Having said that I don't think anyone starting to trade will be capable of making money, it takes months and years of experience and heartache before learning how we as an individual can operate successfully as a trader. I have been trading for 4 years now and continually profitable for just the last 12 months. I fully believe this will continue but take nothing for granted. I now trade breakouts of levels without a stop loss and hedge when wrong, adding until a move . It is a simple way to trade but incredibly difficult to execute without your emotions getting on top of you, but it gets easier with time and results. It also requires a decent sized account. I don't think I would ever have traded this way without having read posts from yourself and Claudia so I owe you my gratitude.
Please keep this thread going, even though I have little to say, I believe you and Claudia are the real deal and will always enjoy reading your contributions.

AWWW thank you for that and welcome simtrad, Everything you said is true lol. Seriously, you wrote good things, keep it simple and have a decent bank roll and keep control of your emotions. I only play around now looking for £50 each day and if need be I will trade hard using exactly the same trading method which I did not long ago (Sons Wedding) and traded very hard last Nov/Dec. trade well and thanks again. Good to see another hedger too.

I was going to say, the only bad thing about trading the 04-00 break is TIME.
Today for instance we had Cable and A/U trigger shortly after London open and +5 made very quickly, So what next?. WE WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW to trade again Or look for daily range but this is better to do after a retrace off a trigger . Look at your wins as %%% this way you wont be tempted to trade stupid. You might make 5% mmmmm that is good but if it is 0.5p, 5p, 50p, £5 you might think (that isn't much) so tempted into trading again. 5% is what you should see.

Are you saying the E/J is not as good as cable when trading the 04-00 break ?

Hi Mr T, E/J has too many fails on 04-00 break for my liking. Daily Break is a different matter which is ok.

excellent, with the 04-00 candle the range isn't too big, ideally I like around the 25 range so I can counter on the opposite trigger. With the Daily though, we might have a 100+ range so a counter would come in approx. -30 or when a clue happens , such as a level break. I speak of Daily Break but it is different to trade than 04-00. You did well bud.

t07-58... trade well all. A/U has 14 range and Cable 32. I will concentrate on A/U first, lets see though.

Hope I explain this ok. Just suppose you have 2 to trade per pip (it doesn't matter if or $$ .
But you trade using 1 (not 2).
you enter trade at high break and then it retraces, SO enter another long with the other spare 1. you now have 2 trades running.

because you have good odds of having a good trade you will end up with more %% .and less risk if it does drop.
only thing the first trade might not retrace lol.
