This is a highly discretionary method which explains the big variations in results among the method practitioners...Worth mentioning that the MT4 platform used could largely impact the results as well ( depends on the Broker GMT offset and candle closing times)...I suggest programming an indicator and apply it to a specific MT4 platform to backtest, forward test and check the if the idea is valid enough to withstand real market conditions.

My tests from Dukaskopy and have all a good quality model(99,9%)
seems that EA doesnt' work
few trades and then few possibility to recovery

Try to test yours EA with TP=10 points or less

I mean:

- This is a good method for manually trading not for a ExpertAdvisor

- better to make a good no repaint MACD Indicator for this divergence and trade manually H4 or D1

This is my result for eurusd ..it uses a lot of stochastics in the same time

you must think and understand my trading phylosophy - WE CAN PREDICT AND TRADE ONLY 1 CANDLE!!!!

I dont know what you testing here???
I test this because the rules are very simple.The result are always bad (also for an options strategy).
Here is a screenshot how my EA trade this strategy.

If so we can't trust in backtest results.

SECOND PATTERN

Rules

For a buy:

1) there goes 3 candles, first and second - bullish, last - bearish
3) bearish candle's closed price is lower than first bullish candle's closed price
3) indicator in the same time at first candle is lower than at candle 3 (in picture it is shown by a red line)
4) in the place where is the first candle, indicator must do LOW (in picture it is shown in blue circle)
5) from candle 1 to 2 price is rising, so in this interval stochastic must rise too, from candle 2 to 3 price goes down, so stochastic must go down too
When all it is, after the bearish candle closes, we can buy ONE NEXT CANDLE.



For a sell:

1) there goes 3 candles, first and second - bearish, last - bullish

3) indicator in the same time at first candle is higher than at candle 3 (in picture it is shown by a red line)
4) in the place where is the first candle, indicator must do HIGH (in picture it is shown in blue circle)

When all it is, after the bullish candle closes, we can sell ONE NEXT CANDLE.

Who first of you find this pattern and show me?

I think that we dont have to use the stochastic.Only the candles formations . Maybe better when the three candles have about the same hight +-15%.

We are talking about divergences here ... so we need 2 references to be compared. Price alone isn't showing any divergence ...
