possible. Buy near 0.7600 and Sell under 0.7590
seems legit

Im still short from 0.7558 , 0.7616-30 , 35 AND i keep adding because NZD rate cut will bring her down anyways

I cashed in my shorts earlier today for minor profits, went long 76.05 & 76.1 Too much buying pressure, routinely higher lows. I see probability of 77+ also.

I lean to the short side generally. Fundamentals, except short term iron ore say down. Right now the interest rate differential seems to be an attractive feature for buyers. It's pretty obvious somebody has accumulated a lot of longs recently, and it looks like they are still biting now. I'm not going to stand against them. I'm only long short term. Happy to be up a few pips. I"m not fussy, I take them whichever direction I can get them. Today it's long.

Guys,

It's really great to hear many collective inputs and it seems like many are waiting to short based on triple top structures and long term trend line. Meanwhile, how about the lower time frames like H1?

Does anyone here actually think that some potential long trades on the lower time frames can be done before we reach these extreme levels?

What do you guys think?

Shorting from 7672.
Dammn, i actually gave up on being long earlier and took profit at 7640. Gambled instead on going short from there hoping to catch a few pips down. Didn't expect it to uptrend so rapidly after that.
That said, if it manages to break 7675 i'm gonna step aside for awhile until it settles somewhere. cos the top could be anywhere near OR otherwise it could fly up up and up to 7834..80c...

a little risky to go long at this level (7660-70s) imo. somewhere here could sit a rush of sellers. unless you're disciplined enough to use a really tight stop.
for me i'd wait till 7650 highest to go long from (IF at all). not much on the H1 chart to lean on anyway.

Bloody hell it's been a long day.

I had 2 longs from 0.7635 levels (hardly ideal), I've closed 70% of them, rest SL 0.7638, very tempted to take a short here, but kind of speculative. Looking bearish on my 1h but unconfirmed as of yet on 4h and I need to go to bed, so I'll maybe take a small short here.

Thanks for that comment and help. Do you personally take lower time frames on say H1? Or do you primarily trade the higher time frames?

anytime my friend. i go really short term into all my trades. it's mostly scalping, day trading. so i focus on the M5 chart largely. but i use the H1 H4 and daily chart to draw trend lines and mark S/R lines and follow the moving averages. i don't really hold positions long because it doesn't match my character ... don't have the patience to endure the intraday ups and downs.
how bout you?

If you want to play the AUD, but aren't sure about USD strength, short EURAUD or GBPAUD or both. They are good for at least 200 pips each.

What about EUR or GBP strength? Will you short if they are very strong and AUD weak?

The AUD has bullish momentum now. I think AUDUSD long is good as well, but USD may be strong for awhile as people buy into the cooked jobs numbers from Friday.
