I'm usually just reading here thank you for this thread, it's been a great read.
I have a question, though.
Every time I open a basket, when CCI change color on H4, I usually end up with SL being hit. SL is around 300 pips (30$ for 0.01 lot, more or less) and price usually takes me out, even when I re-enter, the PA is usually enough to take out the SL, needless to say, that with my small account I don't get the luxury of getting multiple SL hits so when price do go on to profit, it's usually after 1-3 SL being hit and without me since I usually get anxious about the position so I stay out after I'm burnt, to save my account.
I wanted to ask, how is it with you guys? Do you just hammer the basket until you make profit, disregarding the SL being hit? Do you use a bigger SL? What would be the minimum account size for trading such a basket method (CCI cross)?
I do use the H1/H4 cross to re-enter but the 30$ SL is killing my account very fast.

so, dont put sl 300 pips! where did you get this sl amount of pips? we dont use sl.
so you have for exemple buy signal from cci 17/5(this is cci parametres what i use), you jump in, and wait...
wait until price will go in your favor minimum of 300 pips, then you put your trade in BE mode, after that just waiting until cci will change first candle to sell signal..
this mean you close buy, and open new sell positions. Thats all. The best way is to take 300-500 pips of tg, without any sl on you back, and exit. Then wait new signal from cci in another direction for open new trade.
if price didn give you 300-500 pips in your favor after you open a trade, but its make 100-200 pips maximum, then price go back to the level of your open trade, and then its go agains to your trade, dont wait until will close you on sl 300 pips(coz you dont have sl), you wait until price change color on cci..so you will close your trade with minus 350-400 pips, but..in most of the case, price will go in drowdown of 300-400 pips, then will change direction and go back in your favor again..or will stay in drowdown of 100-200 pips and just then cci will change color..so you can have a close trade with loss of 100-200 pips, and jump in new trade with new direction..not more. Drowdown of 300-400 pips and change of color cci hapen when there apeare some red news of changing the trend. Remeber, not all red news change trend, just non farms, cash rate and speack of big boys like Draghi or Hellen, in rest, red news play with trend, the just go in the same direction.
sorry for my bad engish, i hope you understand what i talking about.
the minimal amount for trading basket core 5 is 150$.
if you will look to every signal from cci, price its give you 200 pips on every of them..this is minimal what h4 signal can give..so if you take all signals with 200 pips tg, you get the money.
or you can stay in trade until cci change signal, so you can take in some case 1000-1500 pips too.
