30 more minutes to BOE. Hold it there. Don't do any trade until we know the outcome of the Rate decision

The 5-min USDJPY chart seems to implies that GBPJPY wants to drop...

wtf i had a horible fill at 142.238!! right after BOE i put an order to buy GBPJPY and they filled me at 142!! and now it's back down to 140.2? I don't get it shouldn't it go to 144?!?!

We need to see how US session react to the GBPJPY pair.

Are there any news for GBP that we don't know? Like BOE Carney sudden announcement of BOE cutting interest rate tomorrow or Bernanke to meet up with Carney to cut rates?

so far seems like US guys like to sell this pair, i would too if i were them going into friday....but i'm still stuck with my 142 long (thanks interactive broker) and i can only pray. Anyone advice me to turn short instead?

If you are not in the US you can hedge it and become net neutral, then look for the next good buy/sell opportunity. I'm a bit rusty on this as I haven't been able to hedge in quite some time.

Hey gang, just waking up. Missed all the action last night, but I prefer it that way. I don't have a position right now, but will be looking over the charts later today. Gotta get baby Geppy to his second pediatrician appointment in a minute.

Congrats to all those that made pips last night on the BoE decision. I didn't have the gamble in me to trade it.

for the time being i think
1) no more good news for the GBP, only thing moving it is technicals
2) BOJ is not until 19 july, and hearing Abe is going on vacation next week
3) previously towards 105 japanese exporters were very active selling the pair down
4) it's friday tomorrow people will want to book profits

thus....though it pains me, i have to cut my longs. hopefully we can get another signal next week to ride another wave up or down. Geppy's analysis had helped me a lot, thanks
