Hey Guitarbloke,

I place my TP's in pretty much the same place as you - just above the central pivot. I keep thinking I should be maximizing my trade potential by placing them below the pivots as in theory there is potential to go all the way to S38 - just like the last swing did on your chart.
Its tough to hold on that long though - eh?

JPY appears to be oversold across the board, ZAR/JPY reacting to R100 level now and hoping for a good pull back to the R78 level or perhaps deeper. Spreads are a bit much for scalping, but so far I seem to be on the money. USD/JPY is also turning after overshooting the R100

Haha I made exactly the same first two trades as you, it was a bit of a surprise when it went up so much eh?

My TP was originally just above the central pivot line but I bailed far too early to grab the pips, I really should have stayed in for another 200 pips, have got to work on the psychology of my exits ...

Hi Nostro. Yes, not always easy to hold/maximise profit when there are pips on the table and you're in the green. I would usually go for a larger target but this pivot indy trading is new to me, so i'm happy to TP at the next pivot zone for now until i get more experience with this method. ME's might be a way around maximising profit too. Going from 25% up after 2 days of trading last week to 5% ahead after 1 week today is a little disappointing for me after a couple of rookie mistakes (caught during news), but i know where i went wrong and that is a good thing.

SP1200 IB H1. Limit order set at R100 waiting for price to come to me if it does. If not, no probs, next trade or look for entry on a retrace/dip/pivot. GB

Anyone else catch this one? After spending 8 hours in consolidation it spiked and is finally a free trade.

Lets see if it makes it all the way to my TP, will be around 400 pips if it does. Or will I bottle out and take profit before then? Trade Psychology at work ....

I am same trade as well.
The pair is reacting on Westpac customer confidence index. I guess.
R38 is the next structure it might be settle.
