Forex Factory $?#?$&* CALENDAR just costed me 600 euros.

I had positive trades by 400+ euros on Friday on AUDNZD. I checked the calendar and on July 2 there was no event so I kept the trade.

Investing com also didnt mention the f*** elections.

Never gonna use FF calendar again. FX STREET is the one showing the elections.

Sorry about your loss.In general sentiment is very bearish on AUD and rate decision on Tues so smart thing you should of gotten out Friday besides election factors.
It happens but having trades running over the weekend is always suspect.Focus on swings! and you will be in green majority of times.
AN was on the edge on Friday touching S/R bottom range 0420 and it was matter of time...I got out of my longs Friday on same pair. Anyway not trying to make you feel worse but learning from mistakes what makes us better traders.

I was long on USDMXN. But something irregular happened. It kept going down. FF didn't mention interest rate hike by Mexican bank. Bloomberg and CNBC only reported short story and was not in the headline. So I have to check somewhere else.

Everybody is eyeing on Britain. There are many things going on around the world. So, we must check and recheck other websites. Especially the local news.

Hope you didn't close out fully. A/U seems to be recovering and A/N probably should retrace to at least 75% of Friday's close if not 100% before the rate news of Tuesday.

Dam.

Fundamentals are king dont forget that. When trading you must know about the countries economics it has nothing to do with FF calender.

i closed of my longs from lastweek at 75000 which i opened at 73500, my target reached on the long side. My plan from lastweek was to short above lastweeks high, and i honestly think the AU is in a spot of bother even thou we have a rally to the upside. Not sure whats happening with aussie atm, but I think aus and nzd running out of sync looks like going to parity but for no reason. so I expect a fall from kiwi.,

I think there should be a drop, but the pair is still very bullish and at the moment I am not seeing a signal for a move to the downside. It might climb a little higher before it starts falling.
