Post 249 this thread Davit is talking about his limit trades, that's what my trades were, limit trades, his were buys back then, mine are sells on this mornings chart, placed last night. Limits trades are not at market trades hence TDI does not come into the picture. It cannot as it is not forward looking. TDI is there for at market trading. See the red line on the chart, signaled a couple of hours after the trades triggered.
Limit trades are placed where you believe price may be in the near future. Look left on the chart, see where has price been recently? Is the chart ranging? Is price moving back to a previous level of S/R? Yes, then place a limit trade in the direction you think price will move at the price you think price will hit,,, That's all I did. In this case limit sell. Note I had another couple limit sells price did not reach. I'm taking them of because I think we are downtrending a little now. (My thoughts only) I've left them on but brought them down to the next level
So S/R? I'd say the zone where I'd set my limit sells shows plenty of support and resistance. Not support and resistance as shown by the pivot indicator, but that of the PA on the actual chart. This is what it means to look left, you are looking back and seeing where price has been supported in the past, or resisted as the case may be.
We shouldn't only be looking for something on an indicator, we should be looking for it on the chart as well.
Ha, I now have a new signature

There is another trade on the chart I've taken this eve as price descended through the pivot. I'm out now, working again tomorrow, got 25 from it.
The green line is the entry, note it pierces TDI as tdi is still descending itself. This was a continuation trade.
So through the pivot, and TDI favourable, This is more like what you are looking for I reckon. Not perfect but,,,

Yeah I saw the ban after I'd posted.

No worries Nostromo, I found it helpful writing the post out, sort of gives me an idea of how I think as a trader which is actually encouraging to me. (Or was it how I have been thinking? )

I banned few individuals here so far and the reasons are obvious attitude and trying to get spoon fed.I share what I can but not going to repeat same thing over and over.
Not getting paid doing this.The guy has 2 posts and already telling people what to do.Not the proper etiquette.Need people to be respectful of others be understanding that it is required for you to do some leg work.47pages is nothing to read.

I don't use too much limit orders but do when I anticipate price hitting key S/R pivots.I have full time job and when price is at levels I like often I am not in front of PC hence limit orders.
I prefer UC AC for limit orders because we are in general down trend on UC so selling the swings up makes sense.Pivots makes it obvious where price may turn.
Hope this makes sense.Again its only done when I am absent away from my desk.
