Yes, i prefer to buy from a swing low area. This is just an exercise to see where price will go on the strength of that bar. I'm interested to see if, against many odds such as trading just below and into BRN 109.000, and bar location in a middle no mans land almost area, if price will still reach first TA before possibly reversing.

Hi VK, you're right, it isn't technically a pinabr. The chart is just to show some S & R areas. Saying that if the bar had closed as a green pin inside the previous bar with a longer tail it would also have confluence of closing above the 150 BRN and on a S & R area, it would then have been of interest. Price has consolidated for a few weeks previously, it's roughly a box (see Mike's stuff on boxes) so that would have been something else to consider before taking the trade.

Hi VK. One way to trade this might be to sell on a retrace. Just an idea, not advice. If we combine the 2 latest bars on the W1 we get a BEOVB. Price may also just keep heading north. Still looks bearish to me so i would look for shorts for now. However, if trend turns and heads north, which it may do at the current significant level, i would consider buying too, depending on PA. Wait and see for me.

You said exactly what was I writing about in my first commment. We have big bearish movement last 3 weeks ( BEOVB like you wrote) and pinbar which has formed is against this movement.
When you wrote : "One way to trade this might be to sell on a retrace"? then reject resisstance at 153 would be clear signal to sell, am I right ?
But you have marked some level above with another line. Here I am lost. If price closes above 153- that could be signal that it wants to go north like you said. It means that price returned to box like alphac says. Will be this upper line on your chart valuable as a point where price can reverse and continue south- so I can watch for PA at this lvl or after closing above red line the downmove is over ? I wrote it difficult but I think you know what i mean. I want to watch for signals at retreacements, but never know if it is retreacement or reversal

Hang on, let me check my forex crystal ball for the answer! lol. Hope this daily chart explains my thinking VK? If price closes and trades above 153.000 you are trading into that box which is a minefield, but if you have good PA buy signal from this level, you may make some pips until FTA marked by my green line. I have marked some sell options as i see them too. If you look at the monthly chart, we still have room to fall further, but current level is significant. Who knows what could happen. We must let PA lead the way. I don't see any PB on my feed.

Failed trade. Lesson: Careful taking countertrend trades in no-mans land/middle of chart. ( what's the bet it reverses any minute and hits that level! lol)
