too many trades missed.Reason that I work about 70hrs a week.That will change in a week.Cutting down hrs.

Hi Davit,

Do you take any notice of 50EMA, 200EMA when planning your trades? I ask because I was following your AC trade and while I was watching it on the H1 it was bouncing off the 50 EMA (blue line) all afternoon with TDI crossing itself over and over giving no directional indication, what gave you the confidence it was going to eventually head towards the pivot instead of taking off towards the R78?

Is it mainly the expectation that the pair is ranging and will therefore head back to neutral pivot eventually? If so, what method do you use to determine the pair is still ranging and not starting to trend?

Hi Davit,

Thank you for this simple, uncluttered system. I would not be as good of a trader if it wasn't for other trades like you helping and sharing their ideas. I am shocked that you are working 70 Hours a week. With the sheer amount of pips you are able to pull down on a consistent basis I am sure that you could just trade for a living. Not many people can say the same. Congratulations to you and I look forward to implementing your strategy shortly.

I don't follow any MA or EMA. To me its just anecdotal evidence that price does anything when hitting any MA. Price at any time is touching MA could be 10 24 34 50 100 200 etc.Does not matter because all MA's are mathematical reduction of what transpired.Nothing more.
If price does bounce most cases it is purely accidental and independent of MA.
It took me years to shed myself totally from all wiggly lines.
To answer your question.
Price always goes towards least resistance.That's the simple truth.

Welcome. True I could make shitload of money but its question of account size.I am working towards building that aggressively.
I will cut my hours to 30hrs in July onward.Looking forward to focus more on trading.

This applies to Nostro question and trading in general.
First like to add that there is no loss system period!If anyone is telling you there is one just stay away and don't waste your time.

Thinking in terms of probabilities also helps remove the emotional risk of trading. Mark Douglas talks about the 5 Fundamental Truths, they are as follows
1. Anything can happen
2. You dont need to know what is going to happen next in order to make money
3. There is a random distribution between wins and losses for any given set of variables that define an edge
4. An edge is nothing more than an indication of a higher probability of one thing happening over another
5. Every moment in the market is unique

Now my system is based upon simple observation that price hitting pivots away from weekly pivot will either break or retreat.That's my set of variables and given years of observation I came to conclude that price breaking 61R or 61S is less likely then going towards next level and rejection increases incrementally as price hits 78R/S and 100R/S.
This is hard for people to get specially trend traders but simple fact is Elliot theory is real.Nothing goes in straight line.
My system is based upon exploiting and profiting from swings.Its as simple as that.
To me trends don't exit only swings matter.

I'm Michael, i new new on this platform.My question is this on the trading platform the candle stick does not show neither red or green color. How will i know?

Davit, i was reading this thread as well as this one and see that despite you have a strong opinion about 61/78 zone, you also trade other levels. You have mentioned that you are a swing trader. Does it mean that you practically ignore the trend (e.g. weekly, daily directions)?

Right click on the chart and select properties, change the candle colors to what you want. I'd recommend you playing with metatrader to find out yourself what the various components do. If you don't do this you will fail as a trader using mt4
