Meaning that the thread is so quite, just thought I would put up a few screenshots of this weeks action of US Oil with Clive's CCI with setting of 8 and combining it with Daily Pivots, shown 4hr, 1hr and 15min, would not go any less as I have a 5 pip spread

Hi Hards, thanks for the interest, yes I find a grid with plenty of data much informative for making enter & exit decisions, I have 3 more for you to look at, Daily Pivots, My fav Murrey Maths and what I call my 50pip Risk/Reward chart and the last one is a 1min

Ha ha ha, OAPDave, you got me good! I have no idea. never saw this indicator before. I'll look around and see what I can find about it and get back to you when I think I can answer your question. Right now I can not. But, I want to.

I am a big fan of Velocity, Volume, volatility and momentum and am looking for meters and indicators that best show what is happening inside a M1 or M5 candle at any given time. Not looking for EMA's or MA's. I seek meters with percentages or more. I use the IceFx Velocity Meter for example. (I am not an affiliate) and the indicator is free. Do you know of any others? To me the MurreyMath is okay but I want to know what is happening on an M1 or M5 when it happens and how hard it is happening and how fast it is happening so I can take 10-12-15 pips; in and out.

You guys have done a tremendous job with this Thread......it has changed my whole way of trading and I am very grateful!

Well I must say (you got me too) with all that Velocity stuff, I just think of it like this THEY have to make a range in a pair everyday to make money, we do not know for sure how big, but we know for sure they will (most days) so to me the key is watching the range expand

I can also see that in the Ticks Volume indicator. So, I see it in the IceFX meter and the Ticks Volume indicator. I want to see it in other ways too.

On your AUDJPY M15 chart above, I want to be able to see and actually feel what is happening inside the red bar when it crossed and dropped below the blue 8/8th Ultimate Resistance line. I want to be there! And I want to know to be there before it happens. HA!

I could say the same about direction, it goes up and down, but hey lets agree to disagree, all I am saying is by what ever means you enter a trade I believe some sort of road map, grid is helpful, I see no reason to only aim for 10/15 pips if you have got a few things on your side, surely if you break levels and have direction on your side it would be helpful to no how far it could go, think there is a saying Plan your trade

hards been playing on my other platform and put an old volume indicator on changed a few of the colours and now the only 2 coloured bars that interest me are the aqua & blue, looking to use them as reference bars (buy above sell below) think I would rather look for 10/15 pips from a bigger time frame than 5min, I have shown a 60min & 5min, but still think price has to be in a zone I fancy
