Hello, I have been following the Trading Made Simple thread for 6 weeks mainly on H4 and Daily TF. I had a few good weeks and a few bad weeks doing that system. Overall I feel it is still a sound system but the trades can be limited at times. I have been reading through this thread as well hoping to generate more trades. For anyone who has used both system can you please give me a basic comparison. I have read less than H1 can be a hard TF to trade. Thanks!
Each time frame has pros and cons, depending how to manage your trades. I do look at H4 (and D1 occassionally) to check SR. If you are in front of your charts, why not switching from M30 h1 h4 d1 to check for signals? we have at least 30min -4hrs to work on.
For me, trading on H4 D1 is harder than m30, not because of entries but hard to manage when a trade moved to 50p in your favor then retrace back to 49pips before it head back to your direction again, you could do 2 things: get out at BE or sitting there worried and do nothing which I could not do, keep in mind that when trading H4 D1 your SL usually 100p or more....well, I m not good at it, so I guess my theory does not help you.
Back to M30, if you wish to trade my style and think that you need to improve your skills, read all my posts with charts I posted on this thread.
I might not post very often again as I think I shared more than enough to help those who wish to learn...

Today 2 trades : - EC M30 winner +27 pips , away from DOL and 200ema + TDI at that time but I exited this trade too quickly , once again ! - EG M30 loser - 25 pips , Divergence , away from DOL and 200 ema but I should have exited early ! {image} {image}

I had this quick trade on UJ (30 pips). I entered because of divergence on both M30 and H1. You can see a bounce as well. Most of the time I try to go short a little above BRN when price is around it and there is an opportunity.

Was not sure if I should enter now because of that long wick on the first long HA candle. I prefered to wait with a pending order. I know this is a weekly chart, but same principles should apply.
