I have been trading this setup pattern for years I always enter on break of point 2 heres 2 charts the second chart shows these setups easier via a line chart

yes and if its not it is a 123 pattern. I use these 2 patterns only to get back into the trend not counter trend

The pattern I trade is not Sperandeo's 2b pattern. I don't wait for a "breakdown" of a pivot low to occur as was shown in your link. The pattern I trade is more aligned to a 1-2-3 pattern described by William Dunnigan's "One Way Formula" which was published back in the mid-50's.
