Thanks everyone! I have a feeling the next few weeks are going to be dedicated to baby and mom. Trading will be fit in when I find the time.

I really wish I could switch to Pepperstone, but unfortunately they do not accept US clients.

The only broker that I have experience with that allows US clients is Oanda. They are a major broker firm, good, but you will be limited to the usual hoops the US clients must jump through...hoops that make no sense to me whatsoever.

One thing I would warn about Exness is this - if you run a leverage of 50+, lets say 500, you must be careful, as they adjust the leverage from whatever you have to 50 on Friday at a particular time, then shift back to your leverage sometime Monday. A buddy of mine tried running an ea that required leverage and got his account margin called by this "shift". Best, Josh

Oanda is good, but there spreads are higher than I'd like. Really the only good US broker for FX is Interactive Brokers. The only problem with Interactive Brokers is there minimum deposit is 10k (which will not work for me).

The two I'm really leaning towards is either FinproTrading or Trader's way. They are both pretty good when it comes to spreads and commissions. I'm going to try them both out on demo next week and see how it goes.

What will be good with an offshore broker is I'm capable of trading the DAX.

Wish you all the best with finding new broker, but be careful with regulations - Personally, I would never trade via broker without regulations. Thats why Australian brokers are great in this way, regulations in Australia are the strictes in the world.

Agreed. Its also important to make sure if the broker is even legit. There are so many stories on forums about people not being able to withdraw money from their accounts after opening with a "broker" based in some island or country with no regulations. More importantly, after that happens, you have nobody to report them to.

Thanks for the heads up guys. It sucks the Regulated brokers I'm stuck with in America are FXCM, Oanda, Forex.com, & Interactive Brokers.

I do agree it would be nerve racking when my account starts building.
