Prob a bunch of people on the wrong side of the trade, SLs ect.... Rate stayed the same obviously and thats kinda hawkish but that statement is pretty damn dovish to me and if you look at april they are saying the same thing. Maybe no cut today or next month but in the future there will probably be one based on what they put out in the statement

yeah dovish to me as well, perhaps it shall die down a bit, I wonder if 12 oclock will have any impact, theres also something around 2 am, I wont be around watching it but whatever

I'm short again but I don't really like it, I want to see NZD get weaker than USD quicker... I'm long EU and short UJ so..

I almost want to say the presser has to be on the dovish side given the statement but who knows. Ill let things cool off a bit and play a retrace or trend line break or something. I had this area pegged as the top like a lot of people but who knows?? most of the time retail is wrong so ill just let the market make the decision for me

hidden divergence on h4 for MACD - daily still might have room up, RSI shows hidden on both h4 and Daily...

Did trade it. with GBP/EUR/AUD and USD. against Kiwi only pair I was unsure about was NZD/USD. Fairly small amts. relative to the size of my acct. (but useful as an instant visual when the ancet. is released). Increased my position aganist Kiwi post ancet. Closed NZD/USD. My point, Kiwi is a bit overmuch now. Ck d/w/m charts for EUR/GBP/AUD. Then look at AUD and GBP against other curr. seems like a no brain call to me and eur b/c that currency is reliable, steady and long term you can always see what is happening in advance, but...Maybe I'm wrong and the Kiwi will continue ad infinitum. cause that happens really, really, really {*really, ad infinitum} often with...well any investment. My suggestion, buy a sml. amt. of GBP/EUR/ and esp. AUD vs NZD. Ck. every so often over next week or 2. Close whenever (after awhile, not 20min. or smthg.) you'll have profit.
Remember, WHY you are doing this...

ohh no doubt about it. All pairs have nzd looking like its ready to dive but then again this could climb forever based on yellens bullshit the other day

yeah perhaps, I'm more weighted towards USD weakness, but like I said I want and suspect NZD will become weaker than USD quicker...

Back to sanity .. The NZ economy is sound as the economic data that keeps coming of late proves just that.

The statement by RBNZ about commodity prices simplifies its stance .. Logically how can a drop in NZ interest rates affect the world fuel price which is a major component of the inflation rate ?
