Sisse, u still sure u wanna trade G/U? The volatility is huge. I could not find any explanation of today monster 1M spike. Is wide stop the answer?

Of course !!!!. Is the trade of the year if it pans out. 1.444x still holding and is the only rain maker as discussed yesterday. Actively looking for entries on the rally...

Yes on the sharp spike moves intraday. It's and will be for the upcoming weeks a wild beast:

-> First because Sterling stopped a long time ago being a major world currency and is rather illiquid and tiny
-> and second and more importantly is in the middle of a potential huge storm way beyond the scope of the British flows alone.

The maps are crystal clear in GU for both in or out and all cards are on the table so basically is trading time.

Watch-out OIL leading the board. Macro stops taken (including mine) before NY and there is lots of air above. Exhaustion leg on the making sadly without me. Extension can reach as far as $56.xx without much in between ...

..in BUY you BUY OUTSIDE IN from the LOWER RANGE EXTREMES".

IN a SELL OUTLOOK or BUY OUTLOOK you trade from the INSIDE OUT and at EXTREMES

IN a NEUTRAL OUTLOOK you trade at EXTREMES to TARGET and not in the CENTER.

If I am incorrect; then, maybe sisse will help here but this is how I have interpreted his language.

Key opening range from a TA perspective. US equities flirting to a ATH imminent break but more importantly the tick 2120.xx in S&P is a game changer mid and long term TA wise. Only a major catastrophe will take us below 1789.xx this year. We'll have pretty much set the low of the year first before the high with a W close around these levels.

Sadly sidelined in Equities by default in this move but very well done all bulls that rode one more time the FED/ECB free money train. On the rest of the board, Oil flying in tandem with Equities and currencies moving as collateral as suspected since the close last week. Eying 93.2x in Dollar before reevaluating Euro and Sterling while on the others nothing to see with same levels, same trades, same all...

I think you right. Just for illustration as I see it.... the problem is that the levels are RELATIVE - i.e. dependant on the outlook..... as you know.... however, I may be wrong!!

example/chart 1: from 12.5. we were in short term sell. The outlook came when we were on the top of range/under sell extreme. You trade out of the range to the targets. There could be more lvls - momentum line, intermadiate stop, first and exhaustion target.

example/chart 2: 30.5. we changed outlook to neutral - also the system/meaning of lvls changes accordingly. You trade from extremes to the flip.

bastards made a stab at spoos ath at the NY open, came within 15 pts or so....meanwhile credit yields cratering....big bad macro events looming, I am waiting for smart money bots to go to the 'raise cash' algos, maybe precipitate a stunning sideways crash...

Plus on mid term I remade the map like this:

in neutral it WOULD be: trading to flip form extremes. Chart 1.
but we in sell so it is: trading from extreme through middle and out. chart 2.
