Hi Merrygold,
I should make it a bit clearer that I was comparing that big candle with nearby surrounding (look left). If that was 1st big candle of the bears. I would normally wait for retrace, if it was not 1st one, I would jump in...as I did not want to be the 1st to nor the last, but the follower.
Let me give another example of what I meant... where you will see I got in after a 80p candle , hate sitting with a big retrace( I rarely do that, but in this case I looked at H4 and was happy to see nice view for me to get in after a breakout of last H4). There are so many times big candles appear around S/R (DOL, 200MA, YH/YL) trying to break thru....the more we pay attentions to PA, we will see what they are telling us ( I am not referring a single candle but the whole picture (always look left)

Thanks for the support heispark. Yes for those who are new merely a close below the trend line will not prove the break has happened. As heispark showed in his image price will swipe the SL of those who want to short. Location and timing is equally important.

DOL passed by price up and down --> invalidate as support or resistance! correct?
support with divergence GBPJPY TF 30 (Big candle 50 pips) touch 38% and close near DOL
it's a trap?
attend a pullback for view in support hold?

You need to observe and see...price trapped between DOL and 200ma while it wanted to go down...look at H4 when things are not clear on M30. When seeing things goes wrong, exit and wait. Just to remind, I am not always 100% correct on what I view, you have to do your work and add value into it. One more hint: when CAD pairs's up, JPY pairs's down... CAD is reaching R...

Caught a few on EU, 103 combined, one wildcard opportunistic grab and three stacked davit style, though no way near as stylish as his. Wasn't expecting the rise AAAAAARGH Think I'll stick with these slow movers for a while, that GA's been giving me a hard time of it lately
