Haven't seen mrpip active on the thread since a while. Is he ok does anybody know why he has stopped posting here

Ive been wondering the same thing, i do hope that hes alright and he returns soon, i remember him mentioning in one of his posts that he might be working on something with scott carney in the near future so perhaps thats what hes working on.

LTF down with sideways correction now. I'm not really sure about using this entire swing to be honest though, part of me thinks that I should be using the swing point which I circled in cyan as my main swing.

I think maybe I'm getting thrown off due to the volatility and size of the whole swing compared to the size of swings I'm used to trading.

Regardless, this sideways action will have me probably SOH for the first 15-30 while I see how cash session digests yesterday.

ON session is heavily net short so that means squeeze watch.

If we squeeze I am keeping 600, 625, 649, in back of my head.

A few have posted that he usually takes breaks from this thread to give us time to digest the info and make the process our own.

It also kind of makes sense that he'd need a break every now and then. Being as active as he is when he's teaching and responding to basically every single post is draining I bet.

Saw your initial entry yesterday and thought that looked like a solid entry with high probability of working out.

Glad to see that your 2nd entry did the trick.

This is what I'm noticing about this method - is that if you take an entry and it doesn't work out, another entry presents itself soon after that will most likely work out or at least give you the option to move to b/e and / or recoup your prior loss.

The only problem is getting over the sting of that initial loss haha.

I had my finger on sell button for when price took out structure at 2025. I decided to hold on and watching the PA on that small correction I regretted not pulling the trigger on the sell.

Price then started going in my direction again however I didn't like the wicks on the bottom of the candles. It started to look like we were going to bounce harder when we retested the 2025 so I took my profits there.

Edit - adding 2nd trade. Closed at rejection of structure but think can still go higher.

I know what you mean. I too was thrown off by the volatility but I personally choose the high you marked with with the cyan circle. It just seemed like the right thing to do.

Hows the S&P treating you?

Turns out both would have worked but I was def not comfortable using the larger swing.

The beauty of trading is that if you don't understand something you can just sit out until you do understand, which is what I did.

Can't tell you how long it's taken me to learn that lol.

The past week I've been liking the signals better on the ES and patterns are a little bit easier to follow on the DOM. I'm thinking of giving the NQ another chance but not completely sure yet.

I know what you mean. I didn't do anything yesterday.

Lol I was eyeing that long as well!

Couldn't do it because it'd be against expectation and I didn't want to take an aggressive position.

Even though technically we made a NSL, there was no projection when compared to the last test and the short term bearish order flow does look to be breaking down.

I do think that we are going to go higher but want to wait til the chart says ok.

I think this puts you a b/e so far right?

Another day another dollar. Hopefully its gonna be mroe than that. Long on UJ again. I would typically like to see a deeper retracement, but there was enough structure in this area, that I felt comfortable jumping on. On the long term and short term order flow it has been going up, so definately looking for longs. #PipTrain

This last candle had a lot of pushback from the bears. I took my 10.5 pips and will wait for another setup. Either way, in the green! #PipTrain

OPEX today so could see some fuckery.

I'm probably not going to do much today. Keeping upside targets 600,625,649 in back of my head however more probable for next week if we see continued upside imo.
