It pays to use a top down approach; always to be guided by the HTFs and see where PA is relative to key S/R zones on the HTFs. Lol

Completely agree. However we are still in a downtrend as the weekly and daily clearly show (at least to me)
I believe the move was a pump and dump. I'm short and will hold again for next news. We will see

NZD/USD .6800

Looks like the market is short kiwi now .

RBNZ comments truly reflect whats happening in the world and not just to NZ.

Like I mentioned yesterday the focus back on property prices will be a concern and the interest rate movement lower expected by economists will be put on hold. This in turn will be giving NZ a nice yield.

Still bearish on AUD/NZD even though we had a pullback or short squeeze.

Australian interest rates more likely to fall further

Dairy cattle number falls for first time since 2005

As NZ is entering winter soon, reducing the number of the dairy cattle is a good thing (save money on feeding) and already collecting an amount of milk for making cheese on the next half of this year.

The exchange rate may help a bit but I personally think that earthquakes on some other countries may actually be the true reason.

I would look for longs at 6700 or 6650 because that's where I think its going.

i hear what you are saying...its right in the cloud so bottom may hold as support....usd to be is heading into resistance so next week may release more info....

I have mixed signals, H1 is bearish, H4 is bullish and daily is inconclusive

My plan is to hold shorts and hedge with long positions locking profit

It depends on your trade set-up TF; if on 4-hour and you are looking for small profits go bullish when the 1-hour or lower TF candle turns bullish. Otherwise step aside.

My H1 timeframe setups are good for 2-3 day swings, sometimes more, depending on H4 signal matching

I am using the Time Frame of 1 hour as it gives me more realistic view of what is actually happening in the markets and also using this TF i can easily study the Candle formations

You need at least two TFs, a higher TF for trade direction and a lower for trade set-up/entry.
