turns out the op was a stupid person with a smart idea he got from his econometric class and that idea gave some smart people even better ideas and the thread grew like a wildfire. eventually tho he got caught with the murder weapon while standing beside a dead body. So he is in jail now. Forexfactory jail.

Ok, I did some research. First of all I'd like to let you know that there's possibly a typo in Eurusdds probability statement (http://www.forexfactory.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1539695). I think the last intersection sign of (1.1) should be an element sign.

Additionally, the beauty of that proposition is that we can influence the empirical probability of occurences of dissimilarity-zones and thus of consecutive successes by chosing the right settings for indicators used.

And: last but not least: If you understand that probability statement well, you'll see that transient state are just a special case of similarity (think that this is why Eurusdd once introduced it during that thread). Thus, we can link both systems ...

@Eurusdd & @Eurusdx, please contact me if you read this as I have a lot of other questions (e.g. how to link those rare occurences with inefficient market conditions ...

Hi everybody, I've realized that many posts between (roughly) 1st August 2013 to 2013-08-16 have been deleted from this thread. However, it seems that the thread starter tried to explain how he incorporated the similarity idea into his revolution principle (cf. here (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?p=6898404#post6898404)). Thus, I'd like to ask especially the older members that have been active during the start of this thread if some of them have records of those threads. And if so, I wonder if you'd share it. Many thanks in advance!

Going long or short , you should know already !!!! That is your alpha. But if something is a a pivot support and a stoch is oversold then that is where you buy! And if something is a a pivot resistance and a stoch is overbought then you have permission to sell. Hopefully this is done in a multitimeframe analysis with macro analysis etc.

Little hint from me to you: If you would only need the settings for the 5minute and 1 minute , do you think this thread would consists of 665 pages?

i only ask for setting as there seem to be so many diffirent people using diffrent setting like 1.5.4 or1.10.4 or 1.30.4 and so on just looking for the proper setting

Roddy321 take a look @ The Harmoney Five thread which is taken from this site. It use five indicators
as somewhat described from this site. None of these indicators repaint, but as you know they lag. Load them on a 15M
chart & observe for a few days.
