Coincidence that my demo account (open for years) with FxPro was closed after all my publicly shared longs were up big when AUD/USD spiked???

PA seems to be at a important stage now....... if the target at 7850 is correct then my plot of the support is 20-30 pips off.

I think this current level is already an important level, if the bulls want the 7855 target then it has to bounce at this level of 7710-7750. Bulls have to hold up this level.

I am thinking to short audusd at 0.7760, my target is 0.77 or below.

It seems to be having a bit of difficulty breaking back above the 100hour ma, although the bounce off is getting shallower after each try. For the downside there's still the rising 200hour ma, 50% fib and rising trend line to break. All things taken into consideration I feel it will take a few economic events to push it down. Aud still very much looks bullish. Imo it's riskier to go short than long! Hopefully the London open gives us something more.

No doubt about it, AU is still in an uptrend, i'm taking this opportunity to add more longs to this current retracement, supported by 200SMA on the hourly at around .7722.

Break below .772 and i'm out.

Don't fade an uptrend, don't pick a top. You will lose your pants doing that

Too many retail traders are shorting this pair, trying to pick a top, that explains why AU will continue to rip the top. RBA Stevens did not show much concern about high AUD, no severe jaw boning on his part. CBs in other countries are going for negative interest rate, RBA's 2% is definitely attractive for people all around the world.

Hope this helps traders in this forum have a better perspective as to why AU just keeps ripping higher and higher.

Weekly Chart.
All previous significant resistance have been broken through. For myself, i'm only looking forward for price to touch the weekly downtrend line. That's the next most sensible thing to do for now. At least for me.

Luckily, I still have those shorts averaging at 0.7575 but I haven't decided on what to do with them yet. Missing out on long term shorting from a juicy 78c level was the price I paid for entering shorts too early, but I won't be adding any more greedy shorts until a break below 0.762 is confirmed. I believe this pair isn't as clear as it seems, shifting directions can happen anytime and for any reason. So until it breaks any of 0.762-0.784 I will be happily gathering pips here and there in very short term positions. What's your target in mind? I'm aiming for the golden 0.738 which may seem unrealistic and Kelvin will be giving me hard times for it Good luck my bear friend

always important to observe what's leading the price action...until now it's still about USD volatility today. Observe the same chart patterns across most usd pairs.

There is a magnificent fight happening for 0.77216 on my chart. It's just...beautiful. Good opportunity to go long if you're a gambling man.

This was the previous resistance before AUD moved towards 78.

The bears are pushing it very very hard, but the bulls won't allow it to close under even on the minute chart.
