Thanks. If there was other set ups I might of possibly not traded this. I thought if the price went in the other direction then it would of retraced once it hit the 200 ema, which it did.

Hello i am trying to setup my the system, but just little confused. I have an IC Markets Account set up on a VPS

I have purchased the Indicator and EA, and have installed the Indicators in the indicator folders and the EA into the Expert folder.
The templet into the templet folder.
One other thing do i need to load the e-Trailing EA separately on a chart or is that all combined into the AFK EA?

Do i set up the GMT time in the EA to :Box Start Time to 03:00 :Box End Time to 11:00 (And do i do this on every chart that i have open?)


Do i have setup any other settings in the EA for example the Trailing distance and step or do i leave that at default?
Do i set the OCO active to True since i want the trades not taken to cancel once the other trade is active.

What time do i look at the charts to decide which way to trade or is that done automatically if i set the EA to Buy and Sell.
Do i need to set the ADX start time and End time to my broker platform GMT time or is that all taken care of once the GMT time is set on Box start time and Time above.?

You only need the e-Trialing EA if your using the indicator only, and setting your own pending orders. If your using the EA to set your pending orders, the EA has a built in trailing stop / step function

Yes to every chart, the Ea box start and time times should match that of your indicator. Make sure your Box End Time is the same time when London opens at 08:00am you can use the time converter spreadsheet which is on this forum to double check you have the correct times

All settings for the EA are listed in the PDF doucment I've sent you

This should be set to False if your using my system

(if both directions are selected, and then set to true, so buy stops are triggered the EA will cancel the sell stops and vice versa, set to FALSE for Forex Breakout Direction Indicator system)

No you need to look at your charts any-time after the Box start time and any-time before the Box end time. Look at your charts with the indicator which will then show you which pairs to trade (any 70+ breakout strength which are above / below 200 + 50 EMA), then load the EA in the direction you wish to take.
Follow the rules in the PDF document

No, you will need to set these. Use the time converter spreadsheet on this forum if your unsure

I believe you can. Why wouldn't you be able to set it before London open? I'm assuming that 1 am is the EARLIEST you can begin looking.

In another thread ("Expanding Grid") Bauta has uploaded a newsfilter EA. I have not tried it, but it is worth testing as Bauta is an excellent programmer.

What times do i put in the fields:

EA START TIME 1
EA START FINISH TIME 1
EA START TIME 2
EA FINISH TIME2

SO JUST TO MAKE SURE LEAVE THE OCO ACTIVE TO FALSE IF I AM USING THE EA ?

I am using IC Markets Broker
I have set my Box Start time 2:00
I have set my Box End Time 10:00
Is this correct ,the reason i am asking is i have seen MasterGuru settings in pervious post and he is using IC Markets but he has it set to 3:00 and 11:00

I someone can please verify which is correct i would really appreciate it.

I am still not sure what settings to set the time into in the FBDI INDICATOR ?
In the ADX START TIME ,the default is 21:00
In the ADX END TIME , the default is 02:00

Do i also set those to 2:00 and 10:00 the the BOX START AND END TIMES like above.
Or like masterGuru 3:00 and 11:00

I have the EA running on 28 pairs but on 7 charts the "BREAKOUT STRENGTH SHOWS 0% " is that normal or would it show some percentage ?

I have attached a picture of one of my charts even though all criteria matches for a trade the "breakout strength still shows 0%

Breakout strength of 0% is normal. This has been asked a few times now, I will update the PDF document to state this to avoid confusion for future customers.

0% breakout strength on that pair should not be traded

Why i can not watch the strength before London open?

You can. The signal strength starts and does not re-paint when the Box Start Time starts. So you can look at the signal strength any time from the box start time till London opens
