Please take a moment to re-read that sentence. Hindsight.

I can tell you exactly what to do if you provide me the benefit of looking backward and already know what happened. I take it you sold at the very top and took profits at the exact bottom, raiders?

If so, you suck. Why didn't you take profits at the bottom of every move that was later corrected by 100 pips? 50 pips? How about a move that was corrected by 5 pips? Why didn't you cover before your trade went 5 pips back the other way? You could have sold again and made FIVE EXTRA PIPS!!!

I apologize in advance, but the way you think is one of the biggest reasons why people consistently fail at this business. Please don't be offended, but I would have a hard time being convinced you are a profitable trader... simply judging by your mindset, that's clear.

I did not allow 30% of my profits to be erased. I actually allowed myself to stay in a trade that was going my way and I continue to make money where you long ago covered. You, who still is not in a short trade. You, who is still waiting for an entry you most likely won't get and will end up selling far later than you should have.

If I'm wrong, please post your trade logs and prove me wrong. But don't sit there telling me I should have done something that I couldn't have possibly know would happen. You didn't know, you didn't do it... nobody knows when price has bottomed and can tell the future.

Stop spewing BS and trying to pass it off as the gospel. Most can't, but I see right through it.

btw, do NOT show 'raiders' this chart.... because, you know that was 50 pips short of actually qualifying as a correction of any sort even though it was stopped dead in its tracks by 23.6% fib almost to the exact pip.

Just sayin'.

Hehe... a lot, my friend!

I was telling my group this morning that I added last night a bit above 153 and then I think I added above 154 too. I somewhat recall waking up in the middle of the night in a haze and checking the prices (like I always do) and just selling more. But it was hazy and I couldn't remember if that was just me remembering another night or what.

Looked back, and yes... I did. Muahahahaha!

By the way I think one thing I know now after almost three years of trading is that picking tops and bottoms is an illlusion. Whoever told me they could is a liar or got lucky one or two times too often and forgot about all the losses playing that game.

loGuys , all I can say is trade the style you feel most comfortable with, as long as your profitable. However, if if you really want to make big money in forex this style following a trend is probably the best chance of making the big one happen. We have the best trending pair I can see in dragon and the conditions don't get much better. Give it ago, even if it's a small account or in demo . I have been ridiculed in the past in this forum for addin methodology but if you can tell us a better method to hit the big one let us know..

That's the thing. Almost everyone in these forums is NOT profitable. But they're incredibly closed minded and set in their unprofitable ways.

No changing that, that's for sure.

But I suppose that's fine. It's a zero sum game, so someone has to be paying me.

Not so.....find a method that assigns 6 pip stops........it's always on a half hour.....straight down or straight up....

Again, not here to discuss positions. Not only is it nobodies business but nobody cares. This is what I do. Its not a hobby or a 2nd job. I also don't need to try and charge fish for information thats readily available to them on the web and i don't need to prove to you or anyone else what i trade or don't trade. Easily seen right through it. Whats the matter? No more fish in your thread so your here trying to recruit some guppies? Need more working capital? Fact is I post charts days, weeks and sometimes months in advance looking for criticism and differing views. This move and the move in the S&P i was looking for in November and posted the charts showing why. The correction a few weeks ago I was looking for while you were still looking for shorts. So you can get over yourself at any time now. Furthermore, no one is correct 100% of the time. Not me or you or anyone else. Hindsight has nothing to do with it. Posting a chart showing the same fib levels i did 3 hours later doesn't make either one of us right or wrong. Like I said I still don't think the correction is over. Could be but I haven't seen the signs yet. Also, I don't care what you should have done or not done. You want to run off on a tangent about your position as if I or anyone else here gives a shit thats on you. Since reading comprehension isn't your thing though you should prob go back and ready where I stated that the 1st time.

Not everyone is able to do that. I suck at trading, especially with some magic stuff or basketball bounces every 12 minutes at asia ... also not firm in planet cycles ... not a big guru like everyone here on the forum. I need wider stops and wait patiently for my targets ... sure, I will never make 40 % of the account a week like most on FF who calculate all to 3-5 pips accuracy and are always right ... but nor will I bust my account ever with what I am doing
