I would be more comfortable if they fake out a break of the fractal to the downside below 153.377 then back up above 154. right now this could be a fakeout of a trendline break to the upside as well. So I'm not very comfortable going long right now too if I don't see a fakeout first.

Below 153.377 now. If it keeps going it might be a fakeout to go long. Well see if those two lower lines will hold now.

If it's confusing stay away.

For me no short till it sustain below 152.80 level, and no long this week (friday today)

152.624 is the swing low prior to this big spike up. Below that area oh I would say this is definitely a fake out to go long

If that is to happen spike and dump?

Personally i feel lot more down side is waiting. .(But i know what i personally feel may not be technical), Waiting 20 - 30 pips more down to sell again..

More than Technical reasons people like me maflip and others who already gained more than 300 pips thought of taking a break on weekend and covered positions on London open i guess.

Been watching the fun posts in here but I have to ask. Where did you see a 110+ spike? .. Unless you meant 11.0??

Its funny that only you couldn't see it... try look at 15m chart....can't you see a sudden spike??

I was laughing . There was a 110 spike prior to the news. Negative news comes up and it comes crashing down , yet they don't short but wait for a long. Now the strength of jpy and gbp is very close so its ranging, don't waist your time its going no where now fast.

Quite serious. Looked for it on a 1m chart and saw no such thing. Me thinks you're all confusing "whole pips" with "pippets" (1/10 of a pip) ?

Either that or you need new brokers. LOL Show me a chart with a 110+ WHOLE pip "spike".

EDIT: Either that or you're confusing a "spike" with a 1H rise perhaps?
