initial retrace to 114.8xx from bottom was around 380p, then from there the range to lowest low before taken out the other day was around 420p, Range x2 equals about 106.5xx 1/4 of bottom 107.5xx missed by 10.. doji on h4 as well, perhaps st bottom?

copper (right chart) showing no evidence that uj will bounce much atm. equities on very thin ice. eu would probably rise as yen and euro gain strength.. 1.17 test still on tract.. usd weakening still as copper weakens,, something big possible soon with equities near highs. chart indicated a dead cat before summer 2013 equitis levels.

Some calculations I did this evening to give some perspective on small returns compounded over time

$500 starting account balance

6% a month over 5 years = $14,679.46
8% a month over 5 years = $43,405.81
10% a month over 5 years = $125,818.86

6% a month over 10 years = $484,241.61
8% a month over 10 years = $4,395,144.44
10% a month over 10 years = $28,309,532.57

Now obviously there are issues that arise with more capital via the broker that would hinder your ability to make 10% a month on 1MM etc, but the point I'm driving home here, is that many of these people you see touting 6% a week, or 200% a month, yadda yadda yadda are NOT in it for the long haul. There's more to be said for small gains over time

Just flicked over to this thread. Was happy to see that Gator just shorted USD/JPY only about 10 pips better price than me earlier. Now I know I'm in at the right time to short the bounce.

I like it...I was looking similar and after blowing 2 accounts it gave me hope. But of course time, patience and discipline are needed.
Do you think making 0,3% a day is too optimistic?

0,3% a day (average) over a 1000 days = 9.997,77

1000 starting account balance
0,3% a day (average) over a 1000 days = 19.995,53

5000 starting account balance
0,3% a day (average) over a 1000 days = 99.977,67
