well a bit of a crazier day for me today. I have to say that I lost my first trade in over 6 days of active trading!!! The run went from the start of last Tuesday up to the second trade of today, not a bad run and by farm my best. Hit about 200 pips profit in that time frame but knew it had to come to an end.

My losing trade was shortly after news so should not have traded it really. A couple of errors today but also some great trades. Still got a profit of over 30 pips in the day, so again happy.

Mr Pip, just to say thanks again for this thread and the time you have put in to teach us all this amazing method!! Working a treat!!

In that sequence, price on the YM retraced to Yesterday's RTH open to the tick. The open is seen by more people than any mathematical level derived from any particular swing leg on a 233 tick chart.

Morning guys
Just shorted USDCAD , my reason : expectation is for a NSL , retracement was above 38.2 in structure zone and a short candle appeared (bar by bar analysis), risk:reward around 1:1 but I could eventually move to be if price reach fast NSL and reevaluate.

Good morning traders!

Took that swing down earlier aswell and locked in about 15 pips there.

Playing with real money for the first time. Might aswell up my lot size a bit as I'm playing with 0.01 sizes now and it doesnt really affect me making 2 euros on a 20 pips trade.

Anyway:

Short on EURUSD, BE + 2 at the moment.

I've used the stop loss trailing strategy jmezz just explained a few posts before (thanks!). Moved the SL to the middle of the big bar, price also hit the 1:1 ratio.

Nice trade Kabo!
I also trade with a tiny real account using a more aggressive lot size , it's completely different to know that real money are on the table instead of fake demo money

Yes thinking about doing that as well! In the end I want to make some extra cash with this and maybe eventually become a full time trader but the reason for me to start trading a live account with a bigger lot size then is recommended for my account capital, is that I want to overcome the emotional part of trading. This is, from at least what I've heard and experienced so far, the hardest part to conquer.

That is trading the breakout. Do you usually trade like this? My experience trading breakouts is that they fail many times, I mean, they are traps and many times it is difficult to reach a point where you can set the trade to BE.

The system is about trying to find the best entry once price corrects to a certain level so that you can ride the trade longer.
