Day #1 "Part 2" APG_04 EA forward test on EUR/GBP with 0.01 lot on a 1k standard account:

What EA do you use? Sys2? Where is it?

The max. ever floating DD can be seen in the left upper panel of the statistics.

The difference between the RED (Balance) and the YELLOW (Equity) lines on the graph shows the effect of DD.

All details incl. actual open trades can be seen also in my Trade Explorer below.

I'm getting same kind of results using 0.1 lot -- profit / loss is zero (at least you have 8€ ) with step 50.

But the broker would be happy!

This BS "APG_04.mq4" makes no sense The way it could work is this ENTRY buy/sell taken, Price GOES UP Next Level1 Buy/Sell Enty taken Buy LEVEL 0 CLOSING for

Profit, Continue UP Next Level2 Buy/Sell Taken Level1 BUY Closed for Profit. And so on, Same back Down.. Now its just keeping all of them OPEN

And Nothing happening.!

This is the third time you've contaminated this thread with an EA that no one cares about.

No BS, just needs a bit of work to give good results and we've the team for it!

AB 3 was running on my account with pairs EURGBP,AUDNZD,AUDCAD. And got 10 USD on Demo. Just shifted to AB 4 latest with your settings, let's see what happen.

I would be very careful of this version as it uses martingale strategy. It is high risk to blow your account.

If you are using an EA that only does part 1, I would recommend Fix Lot Ant-Trend. But even better advice would be for you to switch to AGP 4.0

I Found New Necessary Development To Improve This Strategy,

We Also Have To Close Profit Level When Price (Retrace Before Close The Most Loser Level),
Close Only One Profit Level Every One Trace.

This is easier said than done. In order for this to happen, we must define a retrace. It is good enough to look at the profit but when you need to define a retrace, there are a few ways to go about this.

In any case, one can use the grid itself and analyse the levels which I think will be your best method. If there is enough profit to close the bottom loser, then the EA needs to know where it is on the grid. Then, the EA must know what PA is doing next. If it goes to the next level creating a larger profit, then we are still in a positive retracement so... don't close. If PA goes to the previous grid level and makes a lesser profit, then retracement is as over as it can be defined in this way, so trades close taking the biggest loser out.

Another method but I think this will be more tasking to do, is to use a specific TF. We can't go to low a TF because trades might close before retracement ends. We can't go too high because bars might close at negative profit which defeats the purpose of your improvement. For example, if we used a 15min TF and said once in profit, close trades when a bar opens low and closes high in a downward retracement; or opens high and closes low in an upward retracement we could say that the retracement has ended, BUT the danger with this is that within the retracement itself there will be fractal retracement within the retracement wave, giving false signals that a retracement has really ended.

Programming an EA in a way that waves are defined as trend and retracement is not an easy task by any means.

My suggestion is that you stick to rules within the grid rather than to try to define the wave. PA goes positively to next grid level, still in retrace. PA goes negatively to the next grid level, retrace move is over. I think this will be the easiest way to do it. Otherwise we are entering a whole new different ballgame and need to use TFs. BUT, the only way this will be able to be achieved is for the EA to know it has crossed a grid level twice consecutively in profit. Otherwise, we still will be closing negative trades. SO, once PA has crossed 2 grid levels in profit, is it going to go another level in bigger profit? Don't close. Is it going to go in lesser profit? Close. Once PA has crossed 2 or more grid levels in profit during retracement, the next time PA moves to another grid level in lesser profit, CLOSE taking out only one biggest loser.

Just my opinion. I hope other people will have ideas to contribute.
