Thanks my friend for that, I will just post my 60min charts for the last time because this clearly shows the dilemma I have with choosing timeframes to trade, to be honest my head soon boils over with the 1 min BUT I CAN SEE THE MERIT OF THEM AND CLIVES METHOD, but I find this a more relaxed way to trade, if their is such a way when real money is involved, if you see on Monday I think THE BOYS left a BUY FOOTPRINT on the chart which ended up giving 3 x risk, then on Wednesday they left a SELL FOOTPRINT (I lost on the 1st RED Candle) but took the second one, now as I type we have another 2 x reward and just may be heading for 3 x reward, so do I want to sit here with my brain processing hundreds of 1 min decision or trade a 60 min with 3 decisions that have given 1 BUY with 3 x reward, 1 sell loss 1/1 risk, and another Sell with as I type 2 x reward, I will not post any more 60 min charts on the thread, after all it just up to me to decide, hope you do not mind me attaching them to this post, again thanks for the indicator and good luck

Hi Dave.
Yep I have to get my head around this Range Bar system. Total new mindset.
Can't complain. First day at this and made my 34.6 pips. Thought I was clever and lost 20 pips.... (just bloody stupidity on my part)
There is a lot of potential in this system. Just need to take my time and practice, practice, practice!
No problem regarding the indy. Use it anywhere you want. I was not the author of this version. Got it from this thread many moons ago.
Good luck (we all need a load of it!)
Rgds
Pieter

In my chart it works like this:

1) Attach ATR 480 to the chart - it will open in the bottom window
2) Drag MA to the ATR window and set it to 128 and Apply to: previous Indicator's Data and it will appear in bottom window

Good luck.

M.

Hi P, I like your honesty when you say you lost 20 (just bloody stupidity on my part) not many guys own up to that, just wondering what you did wrong to blame yourself, I just love how visual this CCI Indicator is, just spending a little time playing with a few setting starting with normal bog standard 20 with normal candles and a simple 20 m/avg, this is my visual take on it, just BUY BLUE, SELL YELLOW needless to say you can tweek to your hearts content, but to me does not look half bad, lots and lots of quick low risk scalps, do admit I am reading the CCI different to Clive but the setup is nice and colourful and easy on my eyes and does seem to highlight some winning trades. Still not to sure I want to go this close to the market but will keep my eye on it next week

Dave, can you please tell me what template (?) / indi (?) you use for displaying the colors of candles - it looks it is in correlation with the CCi_nuf indi. Looks like it can be useful with recognizing the OB/OS levels directly on the chart.
many thanks

No problem CCI Custom Candles set to 20 with OB/OS set to +/- 100, plus that good looking CCI Indicator that Pipglutton kindly posted

Good day gentlemen. I have read the first few pages of this thread and find this strategy very appealing. I read a few pages in between and then
jumped to the end I have been trading for quite a couple of years but mainly PA on longer TF. When I started trading I have been trough most
of the indicators and motions we all go through. I am still a member of a few PA sites and visit there from time to time. PA definitely works but
from time to time I like a bit more action. The PA traders and couches hate indicators for some reason. I am open minded and try to take the best
of 2 worlds. One learns which indies are really helpful. I like the CCI and Laguerre a lot. Go read up on the Laguerre because it is not so well known
to most traders. Its a cycle indicator. The settings are between 0-1. Some traders like to put 2 together, like the 0.6 and 0.8. This indicator is freely
available on the net. I am not trying to sell anything, haha. The Schaff indicator is similar but I prefer the Lag. Basically you sell when the Lag
crosses 0.85 from above and buy when it crosses 0.15 from below. When its stuck on top or the bottom you are safe to stay in the trade.
I have a live account but this trade above is on a demo because Im still checking things out. It is still running and over 50 pips. On my live account
I would have drawn is some levels! (and probably would have been out of this trade already!!! J ) What do you think?
Cheers. Henk. P.S. I wont be here for a couple of days because I am staying in Philippines and am going to another island for a short holiday.
