Actually it's just little modification, take Buy instead of Sell and Sell instead of Buy..

And preferably but not necessary, have an Equity Profit $$$ Target to close all trades.

And then, GUYS, Trend will be your Friend.. Search for Trends and Dump EA on it and collect Cash.

Sorry by ask this question but the thread so long, I cannot read all.
Did you ever try to build an equation (for your idea) to test some scenarios of market? I think it's better than try to coding then run back-testing, it's waste time and effort so much

Since everyone is giving their suggestions on which direction the EA remon go, I would give my.

The direction of EA remon would be when Vela Vela closed D1 and H4 are closed in the same direction.

See how they are now
USDJPY, EURJPY, GBPJPY, AUDJPY, NZDJPY and CHFJPY, THESE ARE COUPLE WITH CANDLES D1 and H4 CLOSED RED ... Why do BUY entries?

Just wanting to collaborate with the topic.

Yes, I always did wonder why step ups were sells and step down were buys. The thing is with this is that it could be our solution to beating the trend. If there was a way for the EA to detect whether it is in a hedge position or not, you can set a TP in the non-hedged scenario. When I was testing a certain linear grid trading EA, I took advantage in taking profits in the trend while not hedging.

I think it is crucial that if this is the way forward that there has to be a separate TP function for both Hedged and Non-Hedged scenario as we will want to set the hedged TP much lower than a trending non-hedged situation.

Yes That's Exact What I'm Doing It Now,

A program To Take Real Prices,
Convert It To A Grid,

Test The Grid At The Same Way As Video Part2,

But In Real Prices And Auto Fast Mode,

I guess it doen't matter to start with a buy or to start with a sell. You can do how you will it will always be an uncerenty to be right. Therefore remon starts with buy and sell. Thereafter grid comes in to play. I guess his idea is right.

If we have to (gonna) care about Direction, then the whole Idea is not worth it.. If You can predict Direction

Simply Open LONG or SHORT trade with 1 lot, why do you need EA then? See what I mean?

What I want, is to Drop EA with Closed Eyes on Any chart and comeback to cash out in couple of hours..

Yes, The Idea Can Be Exact Like Video Part 2,
In Open And Close Orders,

But, Without Open Buy And Sell,
Will Open Only Buy Or Sell (Buy If Up,Sell If Price Down)

Close Profit Part Will Be The Same As Video Part2 Closing Profit Part


But, Lose Part Will Close Immediately When Win Part > Lose Part And Continue Open Trades With The Trend Direction,

And Close It Every Price Trace (First Win With Last Lose One).

Thanks! I meant "SELL LIMIT"...

With SELL LIMIT orders each sell trade is placed 2 pips higher (then using SELL market), so in total 2 pips less total movement is needed to complete a profitable basket.

However, if the TOP SELL is missing, the EA needs 10 pips more move to complete that basket...

So we win a 2 pips less move on each cycle vs. risking that once in a while we need 10 pips additional move.

Only live forward test can tell which method is better.

Not quite.

The thing is that the original way that things are going at the moment it is while price steps up, we enter sell positions and are relying on retraces in order to make our profits. In the opposite way, we are saying as price moves up lets take buy positions. This way, we can catch trends and it is only in the counter trend at the set grid size that will bring us in a hedged position. Taking profits in a positive movement of a trend, entering positions of hedges and let remons method take care of the hedge and as soon as all the bottom end losers are closed due to positive profit, then we are taking non-hedged profit trends again.

Original method, we rely on retraces, newly discussed method could really prove to be more phenomenal than ever imagined.

Yes. An approval from Steve Hopwood (+ coding it into an EA) means that Remon's method has real potentials.
