Hi Daniel,

I get the idea that you didn't thoroughly read the whole thread from start till finish, or else you would have known that this option has been in every EA that has been posted here.
I advise you -and all others who have not done this- strongly to read and study the whole thread while it is still relatively small.
Persistence will get it. Consistency will keep it.

So ea works well in ranging markets, so if the symbol start trading outside of range than it might be breaking into a trend and possible bad conditions.

What if a filter is added where you set a value above and below the range (once one is identified) and if it is broken, all positions can be closed, or at least you will be aware of that, and must start looking for a good place to get out.

start this demo 10k, yesterday 8.00 +2gtm.. steel alive
first two pairs for treding was EU and GJ,
then i adet 3 pairs more AU,NU,EG
GJ and EG fix lots
didnt stop EA,s at all

Does this mean you keep open positions till 5% is accumulated? Or do you keep closing profits till 5% daily is reached?
I don't know which way would be better tbh.

I thank you for your advice as actually, I think it is a great idea to re-study this thread. I did GO through the whole thread but admittedly not very studiously.

It was only after I had posted that I realized there is an option to resize the grid. I just didn't see the option I am used to seeing on other grid EAs.

Sorry for my oversight.

Yes, and it sets in Points, so if you want your grid to be 30 pips a part that Step would need to be set to 300.

As of today (it is a new approach) I close all open positions when the daily net profit (closed profits minus floating loss) reaches +5% (i.e. 250 Euros), then "Rinse & Repeat".

I am not sure if it were the right decision, but at least it helps to eliminate far-away opened trade clusters in loss...

This "manual method" is similar to what Remon employs in "Video Part 2", i.e. using a part of the accumulated "buy trade" profits to get rid of the most losing, riskiest (i.e. toxic) "sell trades" as quickly as possible while still collecting net profits.

And that is the real beauty of the his trading method.

It surely is a good way to eliminate losers. It's just that I don't know if, for example, it would be better to close 5$ profit 10 times or close 50$ profit 1 time. You know what I mean? I am trying to find the best settings at the moment

Where is the Order/GRID STEP Settings? How do you open Trades then?

So if you simply buy above the 34 MA it may work and you may aswell be profitable, but don't you think this is a whole other strategy?
I fail to see how this may have anything to do with remon's strategy? Maybe I don't understand something you wanted to tell us?
