Hidden divergence ( price makes double bottom), price over BRN and MA 50 to trigger. A good day EJ with two way win, the second trade i get out early cause i have to go out and it take my PT after that

took this trade today with 30pips AUDCAD.spot this divergent but my entry was a little too early but the long candle that form after saved the day.

You can tell I didn't mindlessly add more shorts but let the time do its thing since my SL was not hit

Davit that was great how do i hold position for so long still trying to come to terms with that i can trust expert like you to teach me all i need to know.
two question davit
1. from your image you entered those positions when the candle was long how did you know to go short with those candle long?.
2. Do you look get your signal from a higher time frame and then trade from the 30 mins

thanks likica alhought did not see any regular or hidden DIV, i have since log out when is not going as expected did not notice it's a channel. so how do i draw that channel is there like it

I understand your confusion about trading and specially when taking a trade and sitting with a big loss.

If you are new to trading, I suggest you visit www.babypips.com to learn all the basics like S/R (price swing high/low, Fib levels, moving average,etc.), divergences, hidden divergences, candle patterns. Once you have those skills we call price actions (PA), you can combine that with TDI/ Stoc and make it your style as you have more edge on your entries for you to take trades on any time frame you choose.

Another tip I normally give to new traders is having a habit to manually draw trendline on your chart to feel the market.

Don't get in a trade right at Frankfurst/London Open (FO/LO) as those moves/candle I found normally are fake moves. Wait for 15-30min then enter if there is a signal.

Taking trade on H4, you have to check Weekly(W1) chart and Daily (D1)chart to see if any support/resistant (s/r) nearby, such as where recent high/low swing are. Practise to draw horizontal lines on W1 and D1 then switch it to H4 so those lines should stay there to remind you not trade into them.

Having a plan (we call big picture) help when you trade H4 (check W1, D1 charts) have risk/reward (loss/profit) in place. Don't just enter a trade because you see TDI green crosses red or a candle turn from red to blue/green.

If you decide to trade FO/LO sessions, look for signal on M30.

I enter on M30 with these confirmation:
- TDI cross/bounce
- APB same color with my trade
- @S/R
- TL (trendline) breakout or special candle patterns (can be outside bar/inside bar/pull back candle,lower high/lower lows, higher high/higher lows, etc.)

Zoom the chart out to see a bigger picture, find at least 3 point to join/draw a trend line. Do the same with the other line making it parallel to the first line. You might see sometimes, price goes out of the line (stop hunting from MM) then it goes back to the channel. Of course it might keep going but if S/R nearby and you wish to bag at least 30-50pips and by the look between the distant of your entry to the nearest S/R too small, you are sitting there worried...just my thoughts not only for this trade...

Today (Thurs 31st) is the last day of the month. Lots of actions from Market Makers (MM) for stop hunting (big candles then pull back). Be careful and traders might consider just sitting and watching if your signals are not there. Don't force the trade.

Hi T.

Its a good question which I answered here but will do again
When I place a trade I ask myself simple question.
Is the pair trending or ranging
Once identified correctly then I attack accordingly.I mentioned here before that I love pairs that are in a range.Its not the norm most books and systems avoid range trending but that's missing significant winning edge.Range allows repeated entries on every swing until it no longer ranges.
AC has been ranging since dec of 2015. Both CAD and Aussie are commodity pairs hence its natural that they sort of balance each other.
If you look at 30 1hr and H4 you'll see that pair has strong supply from 9980+1000 and back support from 99+back up
Knowing this I have traded this repeatedly and this month over 2k pips collected from this range.

Very true.Most hedge funds want to balance their books and generally most likely will trade according to monthly candle that means most likely USD will get stronger by NY open that means GU EU AU NU Uj UC deflating
I said most likely because one can never be 100% certain.
