It either blocks again at this price and goes down, or it finally goes thru... It's a pretty good risk/reward ratio at this point.

So the NZD jumps on nothing and then a few hours later we see some real good data.

Suspicious?


I have been saying for awhile now the NZ economy is streets ahead of the Australian economy so the cross should move lower.

NZ and Australian economies are relatively healthy and their rates are very attractive. When you see NU and AU WK charts, there are still huge room to move up.

Id say Australia isn't healthy as it appears with ABS data .. I would say that the market knows best and there are major concerns.
Government wont take tough measures ahead of an election year.

Will crash soon Since we all know that FX is manipulated, this is hopeless attempt to make shorts give up. Leverage and MM is key here, the top is around the corner, and we'll see

I closed out my previous short of ..681 that I held from the 18th to the 28th made 140 pips.

Not sure where it will go now but seems like another good position to short NZD

I agree I'm short too. It appears to be a popular choice at this level. Probably a boat load of stop losses above the resistance level. I wouldn't be surprised to see a shakeout/stop loss hunt above before we get a substantial move back down.

Well, if you look at 1H chart, there is a hammer doji, followed by a conformation, at the resistance level circa 0.685. Also, at the 1D chart, there was a huge movement at 03/29. Big candles like that are usually followed by the movement in the opposite direction.

On top of that, everyone is trading down, so I just might as well.

If my reasoning is wrong, please comment.

Wow, so Kiwi really made a jump North too bad it fail to reach 0.6900 earlier, maybe later it will do a second attempt.
I see you already had Long and short positions...Trade safely friends! As for me am undecided. I will go long if this pair
will reach 0.6815 first or much lower levels and short it if the price reached 0.6900 just to be on the safe side.

I agree Liza. The fact that it is testing top of channel again so close to test on 18th this month is bullish. I have tight SL on my short, will switch to long if it makes breakout

Whoops! I didn't read your post closely enough! If it reaches 6900 I would not short. If it goes there I think it will keep going higher.

Do you think it will reach 0.6945 today? I have doubts but then it's possible......currently the price already started to go North...
So the best level to short is 0.6925 or 0.6945...and 0.6965..am I right?
