100$ account(demo) 0.02 fix lot, step 10, tp 10, sell and buy mode
its make today from open market, 84 pips, then i shut off laptop for half hour(forget about Ea), and Ea desapeare from chart, so i lose some pips, and dont no if Ea steel manage the same open trades..

i dont trade EA,s but i just one to try how its get out from drowdown, coz this EA can be good option for my stop loss in another strategy, who i trad it manualy,
what i whant to say is...
let say we have buy signal on ouer systems, on single pair, we can put this EA just in buy mode, if price will not go in our favor, i supose that this EA, will buy all the move in drowdown, then it will try to get out your position without loosing from initial account any cents, iven of that, it can go in your favor. But the best think it is that it can you get out from drowdown, this mean you dont need sl.
The problem is the same..trend, so i dont no if fixed lot is good for this, grid option its more good on any retracement of the price..coz you have doble lots.
so, what you think guys about grid and fix lot?

what is amazig, EA close just positiv trades..

What is important ChicagoRob, is that the EAs using this strategy do WAY worse in backtest than in forward testing.
I started last week with the forward testing of one of the EAs and it make like over 1k profits. Now weekend came around and I used the exact same EA with the exact same settings on the same time period and lo and behold the results were actually negative!
Surprisingly enough these EAs are better in forward testing actually.

Friends, Today the EA is not closing trades as it shod, i.e. with 10 pips like it was doing on friday using same settings EA from post 174, Buy and Sell, 0.05. 2.0, 10, 0, 10.0, 2270, 30.

Beneath the quality of the historical data, differences in spreads (i.e Weekend if you used current spread), there is one major issue with this kind of EA:
Back- and Forwardtest have to start at the exact same time
Otherwise they are most likely running in different cycles with different outcomes ergo non comparable

Hi Voldemar,
I hope your work on Remon's idea can move forward in the best way. I'm using your EA (with different settings and different trade management policy: only with fixed lot). For now, the EAs are not going wrong even if in any the moments floating is a little embarrassing. I'm using demo account with 5k and 10K. I think the idea of ​​Remon is an important potential. Good job everyone. As soon as I reached the stability that I want i will publish the settings that use. I hope that your work will go ahead: I think we are on the right "track".

Actualy the "Only Buy" Strategy don't close the existing sells.

I think if we could close some existing sells using the "Only Buy" strategy, we could avail the trend better, and change strategy acording market conditions.

Hi Remon@, can we add one simple logic to the part 2 video concept which you are coding now?

The EA should take the DAILY OPEN (price level) as starting point and from there it should plot the grid levels. Suppose if our grid level is 20 pips (where each trade is places 20 pips apart), then the grid should be plotted starting from daily open (to the upside and downside). what do you think?

this would give us a grip on starting and stopping the EA. We could also use something like Equity basket pips where we set a pip value for example 100 pips, and once the equity is in 100 pips profit, then EA should close all the trades and stop the trading for that day.
