Hello all

I am testing the fixed lot remon78eg-fixlot in 2k account since two days ago with lot 0.02 , risk 2 , 10 , 0 , 10 . In two days the account grow 27% but today loss 17%, i closed all my orders and disable the EA until Sunday open. Finish with +10% in two days, not bad at all. Pairs were usdjpy and eurusd only. Is possible the EA can look at a day before to all 28 pairs to select what pair make the bigger trend ? . The idea is to select this pair to be traded in new day due to a lot of time it will start ranging until break again in another day. Another question, can we set the EA to close all open orders after we get certain % of equity ( as Sentry do ) and start over next day at the same time?

Note: Regarding good broker I can suggest to use FX-NEXT, very serious broker, max 200:1 leverage, awesome spreads

Hello Voldemar,

You did a great job with this EA (the first one you posted), thank you.
If you don't mind I have a few suggestions to make:

Let the EA decide on what pair to trade during the day, and change it when necessary. Here is the idea for this:
Check on circular pairs, example EURUSD, EURJPY, USDJPY.
If EURUSD is up for the day compared to daily open price, and EURJPY is also up for the day, that means USDJPY will be ranging, with no strong trend.
Here is a detailed explanation (+ on the left side the first currency is up, + on right side means right currency is up).
So...
+EURUSD- (EUR up, USD down)
+EURJPY- (EUR up, JPY down)

As you can see here USD and JPY both end up with minuses, so that is a sign of ranging.

After the EA selects the ranging pair, it uses the grid size automatically too. It will use ATR of 1 minute or 5 minute time frame (user selected). If 1 minute is selected than ATR period should be 1440 (1 day), if 5 minute is selected than the ATR should be 288 (1 day).

I think this way the DD risk will be minimized.

Let's see! I will let my Demo account run. Just for testing purposes so I can see if it actually can survive such a day, or not. It is risky, and one shouldn't do it live obviously. But since it's Demo I might aswell test it out lol.

thats what i noticed...i had floating $124 positive and it was decreasing dramatically but it was not closing and kept it open...also some times buy and sell trade ratio is not same and have big difference like only 2 sell left and all 8 buy open...so i think the final version will be more stable...

Remon, when are we expecting to test final version?

I think this EA needs to trade multiple (correlated) pairs to avoid big draw down
otherwise when a strong trend hits, it would be dangerous,
if you only can solve that part, this EA could be very good.
