nice trades you got today. E/U tricked me for a short after it made that NSH, and I entered long at just above support, but lost that one (-10 pips). Actually SteeP your chart made me realize that I completely misread price action today.

I used the leg that created the NSL (yellow swing) and once price closed above it (blue circle) and made a NSH, I then started looking for longs.

However apparently I should have used the entire leg as you did (white swing).

I just figured that I'm supposed to use the clear leg that creates the NSH or NSL which to me is the yellow.

Oh well. Going to review Mr Pip's vids on youtube tonight to see if there's something I'm missing. I'm still misreading which swings to use.

Also I notice that the plot executions will edit themselves from what they originally were. The prices are correct but where they plot on the chart and which bars they use are not correct after some time goes by. Interesting.

You did the right thing i think. But also look to the larger swing as well so that things dont catch you off guard.
You had some opportunities to go long and make a profit as well. The market to me just looked bearish in the longer term.

Tnx, I had qte simular as your last short. I trailed conservative and was stopped out for 5.1 pips for that one. Getting late in session so I am not sure I will take more entries Volatility has decreased too . But lets see.

PS: I will advice you to look support/resistance at round numbers carefully for eurusd and cable. It is very often important levels where price can behave different from expectation.

I would view the white line clear swing low just to the left, with a LH and NSL to where it actually points to... that would make sense with the small projection and the deep PB, and weakening in the bears... but thats just what i see...

now we should get on dow a deep retracement (expectation failure)?

long term expectation is a new NSL, but short term after a deep retracement a new NSH

Update: would have not worked out (the up wick would have hit my SL).

i do, but the thing is that every 10 pips you'll get a round number .

tell me, how much do you love harmonics

now imagine when you get a double harmonic pattern. i guess everybody was looking for short, right after NSL..., yeah..not me.

Most important every 100 pips for euro and cable and ofcourse every 500 level like 1.1000 1.1500 1.2000 which mostly are broken on red news.

One question: I was watching the 1M EURUSD today, because trading 4H leaves me with a lot of time and I have holidays . This should be the timeframe relating to the 233 tick chart the closest, right? I found the price action quite choppy and a bit hard to read and remember Mr. Pip saying something of the sort too. Do I just have to get used to it or does not having a tick chart matter? Are there reliable tick charts available for free?

EDIT: Sorry, if this is too off-topic, I do not want to derail the discussion.
